Every time I've been here I've always been served right away without much wait even with a long line. The fries are really good too they make em from scratch. I like the sauce options and the wings are good. They have bone in and boneless, I prefer the taste of the bone in. Yo the soda machine is real good too, you get to choose from way more soda's then alot of them I've seen. The manager is pretty nice here too.

Not the place to go for wings. The workers don't seem to know what they're doing, or are too busy to do their jobs right. There was a beetle type bug that crawled out of our wing pile, shortly after we started eating. The food is just super gross. The veggie sticks though are surprisingly crisp, and fresh tasting, the only complement I have for this place. Food takes forever to be served. Full of "wingstop bros" or groups of young dudes who come here by droves. Never will come here again.

Horrible customer service! With all the teens that work their they do alot of socializing with there Co wokers and not enough work being done! Waited 30 min just to get our food ! The manager just sits in the back office while his staff just fools around. Thumbs down wing stop!

If you're in search for a chainy wing establishment, this place is for you. Their wings are edible but way too inconsistent in terms of taste. The lemon pepper wings used to be my favorite until the rub or spices they use includes about half a container of salt. I'm down for tasty wings but they need to chill out with the salt. Same goes for the Cajun ones and I'm pretty sure if I tasted the other flavors, it would be the same.

This place has never really failed me. Great food Great prices Great wait time However many wings I order they always put extra in which is greatly appreciated. They will forever have my favorite fries. I come here at least once a week and they constantly do a good job. Would like to see the staff looking a little happier though.

Delicious food but the young white guy ( cashier) not friendly but the Philippine old man did great service, and too many dirty tables, people waiting to be seated

No stars isn't an option? Shame. I placed an online order one hour prior to pick up, should have been zero confusion, right? Order pickup time: 7:15pm 7:10pm: Arrived. Can't wait for a heaping pile of wings. 7:15pm: Order ready? No? That's ok, I can chill. 7:20pm: Should be a few more minutes at most. 7:25pm: ugh.......... 7:29pm: Still not ready, getting hungry, not quite hangry... 7:30pm:HANGRY. 7:36pm: FOOD HAS ARRIVED. Not sure if it is a communication issue, but there has to be a better way to get an order of wings.

I can only recommend the wings, it wont be fair to comment on the overall menu since i dont eat the other items. Be careful with the super spicy, i am mostly a wimp tho. My favorite still the traditional bone buffalo wing.

Last Thursday my coworkers and I wanted to go get something to eat for lunch before we broke for the 4th of July weekend. We decided on Wingstop, which wasn't my first choice, but I went along with the group. My coworker ordered for everyone and was advised that once we get there we can split the order if others wanted to pay separately. We figured it would not be a problem. I was wrong, there were many problems and I am going to list them out. 1. When we arrived and informed the gentleman at the register that we wanted to split the order in two. We ordered 2, 10 piece combos, and 1, 8 piece combo. We asked him to charge one transaction with the 10 piece and the 8 piece. The other 10 piece was going to be charged separately. The poor guy, who seemed ill equipped to be at the front register had a hard time understanding what we had asked. I do not know if it was hot in there or the pressure of splitting the bill, but he was also sweating profusely. That was, to say the least, not appetizing in a restaurant where they handle the food we eat. 2. The person that bagged the order placed the 3 orders of fries at the bottom of the bag under the boxes of wings. The weight of the wings crushed the fries. To top it off, the fries were not seasoned AT ALL. They were soft, pressed, and bland. I even asked for more of the sugar and salt when we ordered. I even asked at the register if they added extra salt and sugar, to which sweaty gave me the affirmative. Sadly, we all asked for ranch also and received blue cheese. If I wanted moldy cheese sauce, id have asked for it. 3. When I got back to the office to eat I pulled out my wings I realized my order was not right (other than the horrible fries). I ordered 10 boneless wings (5 lemon pepper and 5 original hot). The lemon pepper wings were so overcooked they were hard all the way through. I thought I would be okay with the original hot, however I noticed they were not the usual color. When I bit into the first one, I knew it was the atomic flavor and immediately went for my drink and sucked it down practically in one gulp. I ended up throwing my whole order out, wasting a little over $10.00. When I asked my co-workers if their orders were okay, I got the same response. They said it was terrible and reflected the same lack of quality that I experienced with my order. I am not going to say do not go to this Wingstop location. What I will say however, is that I will not be going back. . .EVER.

Not bad. I definitely recommend the wings over the gliders. I loved the wings and I got them *hot* and *fresh* because I ate in. On the other hand... I had a parmesan glider and it was greasy. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about the fries (I'm a shoestring gal) and I thought they were really good! Especially when hot and fresh. Kicker is the Freestyle machine... always a selling point for me. I had the Seagrams' sparkling water with lemon and it was a really good choice with the meal because it was refreshing, sparkly, and not sweet. It also cut the spiciness and sauciness of the wings, too. The folks working here are friendly. The service is pretty good. Would definitely consider picking up a platter for a party. They do have a brisk pick-up business and you can place your order online and they give you an estimated wait time. This is good, as it can sometimes take a while to get your food. Pro Tip: If you're already hungry, grab a small nosh at Jamba Juice or something before coming in. This is NOT fast food so if you don't want to get hangry--or if you want to avoid ordering the 100-wing platter to eat by yourself--be prepared.

Wings are good but the estimated time is way off. My order said 20:46 wait time and 30 min in I still don't have my food. Very disappointing.

I love this place! The wings are great and the fires might be even better. You do have to wait for the wings to cook as some reviewers mention as a negative. But I've never waited longer than 15 minutes and all the wings are prepared fresh for each customer.

    (5)
  • Kurt W.

Good wings but they wait for the eggs to hatch and chickens to grow...or at least it seems that way as long as it takes to prepare an order. Waited over 30 minutes for 30 wings, so good thing I didn't order 50! The place wasn't even very busy. Be sure and count your wings too. We have been short changed so many times it's almost a certainty. So unless someone else goes through the hassle, don't think I'm going to bother with this place anymore regardless of how I like the food. Bad service trumps quality.

Called in my order of 8 wing combo to be picked up at 4:15........it's now 4:26 and still waiting. Excuse for every customer is "our system is down" ya right.

It never fails horrible service and they never get the order right it's extremely irritating. The food is good but I will never go back again it isn't worth the long wait especially if you wait for the wrong food. The owners need to fire everyone and hire a new crew that knows how to get things right the first time.

Really disappointed with the services specifically with the two workers working the cash register and phone (young man, young lady) today, 12:00pm on July 6th. I ordered to go in the phone 30-45 mins before heading to this location, purposely because I have work 15-20 mins away from this location. However when I arrived, they did not even have my order on file, and didn't even start making it. So I wasted my time waiting for the order during my lunch break instead of eating it. On top of that, the cashiers were rude. And now we waited 30 mins for them to tell us that or food was ready before we got there and was just sitting on the cart for more than an hour now. Thanks now my food is cold, I'm late for work, and I wasted my time. I will call the manager and definitely complain about these two workers. And we're never coming back to this place.

I tried this place a few months ago and it was so so. I felt like wings again today and thought I'd try different flavours. I went with Louisiana and Hawaiian. Louisiana was far too salty and Hawaiian was too sweet and gooey. The fries were soggy and the dinner roll was plain. Fool me twice, shame on me. It won't happen again.

Typical wing place - with a lot of options on flavors (less than Buffalo Wild Wings), flavorful fries (except this time mine were undercooked and limp), and a Coke machine that has all the flavors (flavored ginger ale is somewhat of a let down - opt for the peach Fanta!) I was prompted by a friend to get the 8 piece bone in wings with fries and a drink combo for around $10 - only 50 cents more expensive than the 6 piece...haha so that happened. Mango Habanero and Garlic Parmesan were my flavors...the first being sticky, spicy, and overall solid and the second was smothered in parmesan so no complaints I guess? Haha the wings are crunch and fulfilling as is trying the flavors of coke products. Great service with friendly conversation. Surprisingly speedy service in comparison to other Wingstops. Sad limp noodle french fries even though my friends were brown and crispy :(

Would give 0 stars if possible. Served RAW chicken. Place wasn't busy, slow service, employees cussing where I could fully hear them. Praying I don't get food poisoning as I didn't realize it was raw till I said ewwwwew this taste funny!!! Manager didn't give a crap that he served raw meat

CAN I HAVE WINGS WITH MY SALT PLEASE??!! :| This was my first attempt at making a "Wingstop." Not only did I have to fork over $50 for some wings (not exaggerating), but I also had to wash the salt down from every bite, and have thoughts of visiting my Doctor after my meal to have my blood pressure checked...haha... :| I must admit, I did like a couple of their flavored wings. But almost all the flavors were salty, fries were salty, I mean I'm surprised my soda wasn't salty!...haha To top it all off I had to give the "Teriyaki" ones back because I don't think they were even edible. Then the employee instead of apologizing and swapping them out, tried to justify it by saying "they're suppose to be salty." Well that's great customer service. No. its not. He did eventually swap them, but I couldn't even eat the other flavor because my experience was already ruined. I will give wingstop another shot, but chances are it will NOT be at this location. Hope this helps. Tip To Owner (Yelp - Give me credit if you copy this idea please, thank you...haha) My Tip To Owner is make sure to retrain your staff to know how to better assist unsatisfied customers. And ease up on the salt...I don't need my blood pressure going through the roof. That is all. I hope this helps, God Bless. ~Da Critic

The quality here seems to be inconsistent. On some days when I stop by after work, the wings seem perfectly cooked (I prefer the Louisiana Dry Rub and the BBQ sauce) where the meat falls off the bone nicely and is tender, but on other days, it seems that they over-fried the hell out of the wings, so it's like eating chicken jerky. What's up with that? I mean, I'll still stop by when I'm starving and need a wing fix, but this place doesn't really cut it in terms of consistency and quality.

I walk into this establishment with a open mind I place an order for 20 boneless wings / 3 flavors just as it states on the wall size menu When the idiot that's taking my order tells me that 3 flavors for 20 wings isn't an option. Read the menu moron, you were working here 10 months ago when I came into this place the first time. After placing the order I was told it would be 9 minutes, no problem. 28 minutes later I'm presented with a bag that I know I need to inspect before I leave and just as I thought, the order is completely wrong. My wings were bone in Flavors wrong But the funniest thing of it all was when I said just put my money back on my card I was presented with the correct order in two minutes. The young white guy that's taking orders needs to be fired as he was picking his nose time n time again next rubbing the visor of his hat as he proceeded to restock the lids for the soda plastic cups . How nasty are you as a young man.You have no respect for the food and health field. I demand every worker be terminated and that you continue to this until you can put together a decent team of workers that want to do the job right and not just float threw as if it does not matter. And clean the floors behind the counter every 1/2 hour instead of before you close only This is nasty and should be rethought. If you are the owner of this place and would like to see a great change in 90 days or less I would consider placing me in charge as manager. At least then your sells would increase by minimum 10% And you would be able to sleep better at night knowing that the job was done right. I give this place one star only due to it smelled good upon walking inside.

Worst service ever. Last night we ordered and paid for our dinner from Wingstop at 6:45 on the website, for a 7:15 pickup. I had been working all day and had not had anything to eat, so by the time I got there at 7:18 I was really excited to get some food and go home and have a nice relaxing dinner. When I walked in there was a fairly long line, and it looked like only one person who was working the register. I wasn't sure if I could just pick up my order somewhere without waiting in line, there was no signage anywhere, and I didn't see anyone who I could ask, so I waited for about 10 minutes before I flagged someone down and asked them if my order was ready. When I told the employee the name on the order, he told me that they just got my order and that we shouldn't use the website because there is a delay on it. He said they had just put it in and it would be ready soon. I asked why they have a website if this is such an issue and he said he didn't know, but we should just call next time. I wasn't super happy to have to wait, but I could see that they were extremely under staffed and very busy, so I just sucked it up and waited for my food. The food came out about 10-15 min later, and I took it and went home. When we went to sit down and eat, we discovered that half of our food was not there. We had ordered a 15 piece of boneless wings, a 15 piece traditional combo, and fries. My dinner, my first meal of the entire day, the boneless wings were not there. I tried calling the restaurant back and my phone rang and rang without anyone picking it up. I tried 3 times before anyone finally picked up. I found this to be rather ironic since the cashier at the restaurant had told me earlier that I should call them to order rather than use the website. I don't know how that would work out when nobody answers the phone. Anyway, I eventually got through to someone (who immediately put me on hold for 5 minutes) and when I told him my order number and that I had not gotten the boneless wings, he asked me if I was "going to come back and get them" like I had any other option besides not having my dinner. I said yes, I would be coming back, and he said he would have it ready for me, and that he would get me 5 extra pieces for free. The offer for more food was nice, but I really didn't want that. I just wanted my dinner. By the time I got to the restaurant again it was 8:15. I had to wait in line again, since there was only the one cashier. When it came to me and I told him I was there to pick up my missing food, he ran to the back and yelled at the kitchen staff, looked at some of the tickets hanging over the prep line, then came back out and told me he was going to get mine made right away. At this point it was abut 8:30, and I asked why they weren't ready yet, and told him that we had ordered our food almost two hours ago at this point and he told me he wanted my food to be hot and that's why he waited. I really wanted to chew him out but I figured it was pointless. When he finally handed me my food, I asked if I could have blue cheese and I got the most incredible look of exasperation from that guy, you'd have thought I asked him to perform an interpretive dance for me. By the time I got home, the fries were cold, my soda was watered down from the melting ice, and I was angry, tired and starving. I realize that they were very, VERY short staffed. The place was in chaos last night. The gigantic lid for the soda machine was sitting on the counter when I left the first time and was still there when I came back. However, the two or three other times I have been there it's not been a ton better. The tables are always filthy, they don't have condiments and napkins stocked and available, and the employees are always too busy. It could be a much better establishment, the food is good enough, but it seriously needs to get it together. I don't know if I will ever go back. Giving me a few extra chunks of chicken did not make up for the hour plus that I lost of my Sunday night.

Everything at this place is incredibly delicious - starting from wings and ending with ketchup. Great for a 2-people lunch - for $12 something we got 10 wings, fries, a big bowl of dip and a big beverage. If you're hungry this is definitely your stop!

Not good. Placed a large order. In advance. Thought that would be a good chance for hot and fresh. Nope. Day old rolls and wings. Rolls so stale we all just laughed at the table. Wings that had clearly been twice cooked. Flavor was fine, texture was not. Paid for multiple sauces, got one giant thing of ranch. 75 average recooked wings. Stale rolls. 20 ounces of ranch. Good times. Luckily we'd picked up way too much Beet Salad and Macaroni Salad from Bianchinis, so everyone just gorged on those. :-)

How can a wing place not throw in a dipping sauce for free? You only get it if it's part of a combo with fries/veggies and a drink. What if I only want the wings? Come on, you can throw one in for wing only orders. I know they are desperate for help here, but one guy can't do it all. Kudos to the acting manager who knows his stuff and does his best with what he has. I hope they upgrade their training and get more competent people to work there.

Pretty good! I've been coming to this place countless times and have NEVER had bad service or have been disappointed with the food. When i come here with friends i usually get the classic wings for two! It comes with 2 drinks, 15 wings ( 2 diff flavors half and half ) and a big basket if fries! It is BIG and leaves you full and satisfied The employees are usually really nice and help you out if you need anything. My orders rarely have been switched up but i usually let them know and they give me a new order This place is affordable good and is open until 12 so thats a plus P.S * My favorite wings are the Louisiana rub and the Lemmon Pepper Wings * you can choose "bone-in" or "boneless"

This review is for this particular location. Yesterday we picked up a variety of wings for a party. When we picked them up we asked for a roll of paper towels. The guy pulled about 10 feet of paper towel off the roll, crunched it up and put it in the bag. Really?? Under salted and bland. Won't be back to this location.

Where is the owner? You always want to be present on a busy Saturday to make sure restaurant is operating efficiently. The kitchen area was dirty, floors sticky and uncleanliness makes you lose your appetite. Success and to get repeat customers in a food establishment requires cleanliness, professional staff, and owner present.

Place is small and crowded and, without a better way to describe it, stinks from burnt oil and grease. It was so bad we had to sit outside even though the place was not full at all. The busy automobile parking-lot outside was better environment than the suffocating air inside, it is quite unbearable. A simple order for 2 people took 20 minutes (!!) before it was ready. The entire order was too salty, the fries were inedible, the wings were ok but also wayyyy to salty. Due to our already long waiting time which we didn't want to endure again, we just took a few bites and the rest of it went to the trash. We would normally take home whatever we couldn't finish at lunch but this "food" was so bad we just wanted to get rid of it. A visit to Wingstop is not going to be ever again in my future. It is possible that this is the worst Wingstop branch ever, please if you do decide to get wings DO NOT pick this branch, ANYTHING else is better.

Jayare makes the BEST wings!! I ordered the lemon pepper and mild wings and they were scrumptious. I think its the best Wingstop in the area. If you're here, request for Jayare to make your wings. He'll make em perfect.

The wings are excellent! However all the sauces and fries are so incredibly salty that I can't help but wonder if they accidentally dropped a bucket of salt in the sauce container. But the wings and nuggets are excellent.

I have to say I really like the food here, as for the service not so much. The fries are delicious, I could eat seconds, and thirds. I've come here several time and the Garlic Parmesan is by far my favorite. The service could be a little friendlier, just a simple smile could go a long way. But for the price this place is worth it!!

42 minutes for 12 chicken strips and cheese fries. Dirty place, employees don't seem to be interested in selling anything what so ever. Second time I came here, and twice the same. When I asked for my order they didn't have it in the kitchen...so I'll be waiting a bit more! Let's hope it's worth it this time.

Recent takeout experience- So, want you to know right off the top that the wings were good. We had atomic because we like them spicy. However...called in order for wings and a veggie tray with blue cheese. Got there to pick up and interminable wait in the single line for order AND pickups. There should be a separate line for the pick-up people who have taken the time to order ahead and don't have to wait behind THAT woman who changed her order three times, like I did. Minus one star. Got to cashier, finally. Him: "Here are your wings." Me: "And I also ordered veggie tray with blue cheese?!?" He checks slip, "Yes." Got home, no blue cheese. Minus another star. Food good, service sucks.

Ok I love wing so much. If I could eat wings all week I would do it. For some reason wing stop in San Carlos have been not great lately. First they give me boneless wings and I love classic ones with bones. Ok I was like next time I make sure I ask specifically and I double check. Now my boyfriend love the bread they do and I like it too but since some months ago they have been different and nasty we stop ordering 6 rolls instead we get one each at least but today OMG I did not wanted to eat it at all. I hope they get back the old rolls ;(

I really wanted to five 5 stars, but I just couldn't in all good conscious. I love the Louisiana and mango habanero with bone in wings. SOOOOOOOooo good! Here's why I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5. We get charged damn near a dollar per ranch sauce.. and not even 1 free with the meal! It makes me sad.

Average sized wings with a variety of flavors and heat. This is a no frills place; they use a paper towel roll that you'd find in a bathroom for their napkins! Besides the wings, their fries and veggie sticks are good accompaniments! There are not too many chicken wing chains but we have very good local places. The KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) places offer larger sized pieces with mild or hot sauce. You can't beat variety of flavors and heat, though.

This was definitely an atypical dinner order at the office, but we decided that it would be fitting as we watched the NCAA Tournament National Championships. There were a dozen or so of us watching the game, so we ordered many different wing varietals including original hot, mango habanero, lemon pepper, and garlic parmesan. Some of the flavors were interesting and unique to me. For instance, I've never had lemon pepper before and though that it was pretty good. I also overate, which is a usual occurrence when eating wings, especially when there are many different flavors involved. That said, I didn't feel that bad despite feasting on them. There was nothing blow away about the wings but I think the variety was impressive, so I'm assigning 4 stars overall.

What's the point of a line when you don't make orders in the order received? Waited and still waiting for my wings as customers who arrive after us are getting their orders first. 14 minutes my butt!

Grease and salt. That's what WingStop provides galore. Good for if you're into high blood pressure and a heart attack. I had the 2 Glider meal that offered 2 sandwiches and side of fries. The Gliders were basically Cajun (you have a choice of flavors but you can't have one for each Glider) seasoned breasts and pickles on a roll. The Cajun spices didn't come across as they were drowned out by the saltiness of the chicken. The fries were also salty but also incredibly greasy. They were pretty much transparent from being soaked in grease. My lunch partner had the wings and there was a pool of grease at the bottom when he was done. Yikes. I would've given 2 stars but the extra star is for the good honey mustard dipping sauce which offset some of that saltiness.

I mean how many times can you fuck up a order? I work nearby and have been coming here a few times a week for just over a month. I mean these are just god awful. I tell them to double check my order today, which didn't go so well. After she checks if everything is there ,I decide to open the bag to find 2 rolls missing, no ranch and no extra seasoning like I asked. How lazy can you be. how hard could it be to work their. The week before they gave me original hot instead of lemon pepper and said I'm the one who asked for original hot. The customer service is seriously lacking and management seriously needs an upgrade. I have defiantly lost the meaning of the words " wing expert "

You like the taste of vinegar? Then this is the place to go... Yuck. I made the mistake of letting my curiosity get the best of me. They're food is extremely over priced for the amount and flavor. Also the front staff is incredibly rude and disgusting. Men shouldn't be allowed to have facial hair like that in the kitchen and when this particular guy would raise his arms his shirt would lift and his sweaty hairy belly would be exposed YUCK YUCK YUCK. AND they shouldn't be allowed to smoke in front of the building. My son is asthmatic and walking through it is not healthy and it looks sloppy on their end. They also have NO people skills. Its called smiling and greeting not schlepping through each customer because you have to. It took my order like 20 mins to come out when others BEHIND me received theirs first and all the staff kept saying is its coming its coming like are they just there to collect a paycheck? They seriously need ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENTS. I will not be returning to this location for many reasons but maybe I should call the health department and have them investigate this grease hole

So I love wings. I could eat them everyday all day. And I've been around the block quite a few times with other wing places & wingstop aswell. The only reason I EVER eat here is because my fiancé loves their wings. And you know sometimes you gotta suffer for love. Anyway now for the ratings on the wings. Dry dry dry dry. Their bone in wings are just hit and miss. More miss than hit. The boneless wings that I had were decent. The sauces also dry. You might as well get a 32 oz soda (unlimited coke options, some you didn't even know existed) because you're gonna be chewing for a lifetime to get their wings down. Fries are the best thing here. Be careful not to get them extra seasoned because you'll be suffering from the salt overdose. And I hope you're not a stingy one when it comes with money. Be prepared to pay that extra couple of cents for some sauce. Otherwise you're getting less than what you pay for.

Unfortunately, I tried this place again. I had a a bad experience at a different location. Well they didn't let me down again. I will not be eating at another Wing Stop ever again. Our order took over twenty minutes. There were several other customers that ordered after us and got their order sooner. Now back to my food. I ordered the boneless wings with the Rub and Cajun flavors. Upon arrival, both were extremely salty. I choked the rub flavor down and attempted the cajun style, but I couldn't finish eating one. I went to the counter asking why they were so salty and they had informed me that the boneless wings were pre-salted. They did not offer to give me another order without any sauce. I asked but they said unfortunately no. Basically, if you like wings, this might be your spot. But don't get the boneless, if so, just know they are pre-salted, get the sauce on the side. I however, will not be going back.

It's just like any other Wingstop which is good! It's also got the fancy Coke machine that makes drinks in a bazillion flavors (I like to mix vanilla Coke Zero + orange Coke Zero = creamsicle Coke Zero). The downside of this particular location is, well, the location. This plaza is kind of a pain in the butt to get in and out of. There's only one way in to the lot.

World's shittiest customer service but the food is good. They need to fire the tweaker that works the front counter since all he does is sit on his cell phone rather than even look at you.

This health-conscious anti-chain eater wants to dislike this place but I can't. On the contrary, I crave Wing Stop. I don't normally even like fried food but this place has a hold on me. It takes extreme willpower for me and my bf to only eat their spicy chicken and french fries once a week. They have THE BEST fries--other area restaurants, including my fav burger places, should strive to offer fried potatoes this tasty! This Wind Stop also offers a hip (although small) dine-in area and a deluxe fountain soda machine that appeals to all.

Home of wimpy wings (in many different flavors). When I have a carnivorous craving for wings, I want to bite into some juicy, meaty pieces of flesh. But you are not going to find those at Wingstop. Here you will find scrawny little wings and drumsticks that will leave you still yearning for meat. Now they do have a ton of flavors and these wings come in bone-in or boneless so the options are good. I like the family packs that come with carrot/celery sticks and dips along with the wings. And service for my pick up order was very courteous and helpful. Bottom line: Will only partially satisfy your wing cravings. You might have to gnaw on your arm after you finish all the wimpy lil wings.

In San Jose for the weekend , craving some wings tonight.... Wing stop was just down the street and reviews were ok.. My daughter and I got there just in time before Friday night rush. We were lucky to get one of 10 or so tables in the tiny joint. I ordered the 8 piece original wings , hot. My daughter had straight up boneless wings no sauce so they gave her a second ranch at no charge... My original hot wings were good , taste was par for other wings I've had..could have been a little crispier but the meat was good and the sauce was tasty. If I had something negative to say it was the size of the wings. ..A little on the small side , same thing with my daughters boneless wings..A little small in size. Maybe I'm just not used to the prices up here but it also seemed way more expensive than Wings and Things in San Diego....

If you're called Wing Stop, you better have damn good wings which unfortunately was not the case for me today during my lunch visit. I have been to other locations & they have been great but this location totally missed the mark on everything...service & food included. I called in a to go order & could barely hear the lady talking....that made ordering a little difficult! I ordered but needed some assistance with picking the most cost efficient meals & the lady was not very helpful at all with that.... I got there & paid & my order was supposed to be ready by the time I arrived...but was it? nope! Had to wait around another 5-7 minutes....Eventually got my food & left. When I ate the chicken was just ok. The fries were horrible...soggy & limp. My sister just got plain chicken strips (her favorite food, btw) & hated it... I will not be going back to this location anytime soon! I'll be sticking to other locations in the future who have friendlier service & better food.

Very good wings, poor business process. The're rubs and sauces are great. I especially like the original hot, cajun, and louisina rub. Customers who pre-pay online shouldn't have to wait in line again at the register. Wingstop, I get that you want to verify that customers who pickup orders are those who placed them, but there are much easier ways to do this for your customers. Also, if your staff speak with accents such that your customers can't understand when their names are called, maybe you should just use numbers to call out orders.

Just like any other Wingstop, still not impressed. Overpriced for what you get. The wings are overcooked and tiny. Wings are so small that they must have been from starving chickens. And overcooked to the point where the meat is dried, shriveled and almost crunchy. They try to compensate by over saucing with a variety of different flavor offerings. I found that the spicy flavor wasn't very spicy, shoulda gone for the atomic. Most annoying thing on my last visit was I ordered a 10 piece and got 8 drumette and 2 wing pieces. Why can't they give the same number of wings vs. drumettes? They do have a couple of good things going for them. There aren't very many fast food type places that sell wings. Also, they are open pretty late so I would come back only if I am desperate for a wings fix late at night.

This place was complete garbage. Never coming back again and they forgot to close the lid on my ranch, ranch spilt all over my bag. And Fries weren't cooked right.

We went to this Wingstop last night, in hopes of a quick Independence Day dinner, but what should've taken 15 minutes to pick up dinner ended up taking over 30. We ordered our food really quickly, only one or two couples were waiting on their meals in front of us. After about 20 minutes of waiting, and seeing customers who arrived after us get their food, we went up to the counter. When we asked when our food was going to be ready, the server looked around for the ticket, and found that it had already been pinned as completed. He then told us "Somebody tagged this already." Having been in the restaurant the entire time, we noted that we never received the food, nor was the food called. He reluctantly mumbled "I'll have them make it now," with no apology or concern for the fact that they completely skipped our order. I don't know if it was the rush to get us our order more quickly, but I will also say that the quality of wings that we received were definitely sub-par. I usually don't mind when mistakes are made, but when the people who make the mistakes disregard them and act annoyed that we actually want the food that we paid for, then I have an issue.

Wing Stop- I'm very disappointed in you. I used your online ordering system twice now in an attempt to avoid your freakishly long lines. You told me the first time that my order would be ready 45 minutes from when I placed it and when I arrived 40 minutes later, my order was ready. But it was cold. Why didn't you tell me to come and pick it up sooner? The second time, I thought "I'm going to be smarter than you this time", but you still got me. You told me to come 45 minutes from when it was ordered and I came to pick it up 20 minutes later. There it was, ready and cold. Plus, this time you forgot to give me the correct sauces. There will be no third time. Your wings are good, but they aren't that good cold. And yes, I do have an oven. But I think that part of what I'm paying you for is to serve me warm food.

Worst wings I ever had normally they are good and lemon pepper is my fav but these were dry and over cooked. I had a combo no drink, the place was not clean. Probably not going back. If this is a trend I would not recommend anyone else go either.

Tonight I went in and Alex served me and I let him know that the last time I went there my basket was short on chicken and he and the rest of the staff were very sorry and made sure that our serving size was the way it should be. Great customer service even though it was a Friday night and they were really busy. So I'm stoked and will return many of times. By the way the way I got the Cajun chicken wings and they are bomb!

What the hell if your restaurant is full and paying people are waiting for a table in NO way should a solo employee be taking up a 4 person table. I don't care how good your wings are I don't think I will be coming back.

  • Kaydie H.

The wings are pretty average and the sides are standard. I would have given it three stars but after eating there five times, only thrice did I get my order correct. As for the wings, I have tried about four different wing flavors but am not wow'd. I find that their flavor is just massive amounts of salt. The dips are very tasty, but they aren't complimentary. I will probably just be going to Sneaker's from now on, or wishing that the bay area had a Zaxby's. If you're ordering to-go, PLEASE check your order. Either I've had an unlucky streak, or this is a common occurrence.

I am not a big soda and fry guy. So I ordered a ten peace wing and a brew came to like twelve bones. The beer was cold :) The sauces were fine but the wings themselves were pathetic. Not plump or juicy, they were kind of skinny and tough. I think this was my third at the chain, overall it seems like cheap chicken. I am sure I can find better.

These aren't necessarily the best wings in the world, but like most wings joints, WingStop helps sustain my bachelor lifestyle. They've got 10 flavors, they've got beer, they've got veggies, and they've got takeout so I can bring it all home and eat wings and drink beer while playing Halo 4 on a Thursday night. I like the Garlic Parmesan wings the best, but if you're into spicy check out their atomic or cajun flavors. Personally I can't stand spicy and these flavors completely ruin my Halo mojo.

Down to about zero! Sunday AM and the soda machine is out of soda. My order was thoroughly screwed up as I had to go back 3 times to correct it. The place was empty ,it's not like it was so busy things fell through the cracks.

I love Wingstop however this location sucks. We went here after our bike ride hoping to for good post ride grubbing. Placed my order and was told my order will be ready in 9 min. 30 min later I finish my beer and no food yet. I asked about my order and they said oh it'll be a few more minutes. Other folks after me got theirs before I did. WTH...... Besides the service, the food is good. I love their hottest one "the Atomic" Gets me sweating.....

+1: Twas 10:30 at night, I was starving. Since they close at midnight, Wingstop saved me from having to go to taco bell or Wendy's -1 : Their buffalo wings are not very good. How can one call themselves a wing place without good buffalo wings? +1: They do

It's located right in Best Buy shopping center. Very good manly food. I had lemon pepper and Luisiana dry rub combo for under $10 including tax! Very "futuristic" soda machine! I'll be definitely back soon.

For twenty wings on a Tuesday night, if you don't have at least fifteen minutes to a half hour to spare, it's in your best interest to order in advance. Besides that, sounds like you better think way in advance if you have a massive order for a sporting event from the reviews below! The wings here are delish! If you're looking for a nuance of spices and flavors go for something like their cajun or Louisiana rub. I have yet to return and sample the other flavors.

So I decided to give these guys another chance after 4 months. Turns out that the best flavor on their menu is now OFF their menu. No more Mango Habanero? Have another star!

  • Lily N.

I tried their atomic chicken, and I literally started crying and nose-dripping a second later. Hilarious experience, but I would never eat the atomic again. My favorite flavor is definitely the lemon pepper chicken. It's not too overwhelming like the parmesan, too sour like the BBQ, or slimey like the cajun. This place is a little sticky if you sit in the tables in the back.

I simply love this place. Yes it is chicken wings, in all its fatness and deliciousness -- so not a good idea if you're dieting, or trying to :) But it is a great comfort food, treat or whatever the excuse you wish to conjure to indulge. There is a private parking lot, it is a part of plaza. Wait is 14min, since they make your order fresh. I like their potato fries as well, give 'em a try. There is no patio, and the ambient is what it is -- same in all locations (ex: Oceanside in South California is identical). But who cares, the food is delicious! Enjoy!

I've been going to this wing stop for about 1.5 years on almost every saturday or sunday. Here's what I've come to realize. Never ever order to-go. Not only does the meal start to get soggy when you get home but they always skimp on the sauce. I debate ever time wether or not I wan't to stay and eat or bring it home. Tonight was more of a let down in that when I got home I came to find that they gave me 8/10 wings. NEVER order to-go. 70 percent of the time the french frys are going to be soggy. It's not this bad at other locations and I haven't figured out what time is best, when or if they change the oil or who's cooking at that time. Just be prepared for that. Also no matter how many times you go in there they always ask you "Have you had Atomic before?" :) I need a shirt that says... Yes... I have had atomic before. And then the back should read... So I won't be returning them because they are too hot. I really like the place. Service is good and some times friendly. Place is always clean. Spices are nice. Coke machine always has people dumb founded and amazed.

honestly. Wingstop was only a ok today. I don't usually go a lot. The most I've been to Wingstop was probably...3 times that one month? I know, its pretty bad for you. But I went here today, and as usual, got lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. In the past, i've already realize the fact that the wings are super oily, but today it actually bothered me, weird huh? The wings are usually ready within 14 minutes, thats what the cashier will tell you too! Taste is pretty consistent i'd say. But too much of those wings are really doing nothing good to you. SO MUCH OIL! I guess random cravings, or if you're intoxicated, the wings will taste much better. In fact, I should know the answer! Since I've had lemon pepper wings while i was intoxicated. REALLY AMAZING! OHH our cashier was also very nice. At least this place has consistent polite customer service :)

  • Ray W.

Meh, I've experienced better. This is EXACTLY how I felt about this place. Sure it's chicken wings.. How much can I complain right? Well.... The wings aren't that meaty. I figure these chickens were most likely the Kate Moss of the fowl world and just didn't have that much heft to em. I like the fact that they have variety but in the end.. It's just deep fried wings.. Sure they could of brined them to make them juicier. Sure they could of used a batter or wash of some kind to give it a different texture to it. Stand out or something!! But some wings are better than none.. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amy D.

My friend ordered wings on Friday for the NFC Championship game today (yesterday). When we went to pick up the order, there was a sign on the door: no more walk-in orders. People kept walking in to ask what the sign meant. Apparently, they can make up to 450 wings every 15 minutes, and due to online orders, had met their wing quota. We ordered 20 wings (10 spicy, 10 mild) and an order of fries = $16-17. I don't eat wings often, but aren't the wings here kind of small? They're tasty, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way for them.

  • John G.

OK....I'm not a food snob and only wished there was a Wing Stop location closer to home. It is what it is: Chicken Wings in different spices and flavors. How can you go wrong with that? I suddenly have craving for some Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan. *licks salty fingers*

  • Boris M.

I like wings and this place did it for me...... but in same time they want to charge me for ranch and that is not how i looked at it. When you get wings you should be able to give ranch at no charge when we run out of it and not to try to get more money from your cleints. all raise a price a bit so you do not have to cahrge any one again because you get me as a customer and i just paid you 35 dollars for two I dont think I should pay a dollar more for ranch.

  • Jessica C.

I really like WingStop. (Not the "cajun" wings though. They are a bit too heavily seasoned with big herb chunks) I actually like their fries better when they're soggy (A.K.A. after you take them to-go). Especially with bleu cheese and ketchup.

I'm not sure why there are TWO reviews on Yelp for this particular Wingstop, but I decided to post mine here due to popularity :) I'm a fan of Wingstop, anywhere, anytime!!! The one in San Carlos happens to be the closest one around where I usually hang out... so I come here quiet often, either for take-outs or dine-in. The restaurant is usually packed!!! Small dining areas(typical wingstop) but most people do take-outs. In contrary to what most people dislike about wingstop, I actually love the "anorexic" smaller wings they serve at wingstops. The bigger wings kinda creep me out imagining the hormone injections..also I happen to be one of the many people who saw the photos of "KFC abnormal looking" chicken that went around the chain-email a few years ago...and the image of the scary looking abnormally fat chicken with no feather still haunts me. My favorite flavors are the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan..I usually eat my wings with the honey mustard dipping..yummm!!!! From time to time, I will order a few atomic wings. For non-spicy eaters, be warned with the spicy atomic sauce that will stick on your fingers for at least 24 hours! and of course it will burn your mouth, tongue, and lips!!! Try to call in to place an order prior to coming here as they freshly cook the wings to order..so you do have to wait 10-20 minutes (depending on how busy they are) to get your food...and the line is long most of the time. Asian Tips: mix the garlic parmesan with steamed rice and eat with your hands...seriously.. everything tastes better when you eat with your bare hands!!

    (4)
  • Mikee R.

I can only give three. The wings weren't even close to the best best I have ever had. The Coke machine was not calibrated properly. The mix was way too weak.

Good food, but I am not happy with this location. I am still trying to get a refund after they mistakenly charged me twice on an order. Apparently it's not as simple as simply swiping my card and getting the money credited back to my account. This has caused a major headache now. The refund process has supposedly been initiated and that has caused my bank to flag this as some sort of fraudulent activity. Now my debit card has been cancelled and I'm four days away from payday and waiting on a new card, all because of a double charge on some chicken wings! :(. I don't want any freebies. I don't want a discount. I just want someone to make this right and give me my money back!

Ordered some wings online and picked them up. The online ordering was sort of confusing. I order online at many places and this one had some holes in the processes. Ordered 10 boneless hot and 10 boneless hawaiian wings, an order of fries, potato salad and rolls. We were hungry after a long flight into town and so forth, though we definitely over estimated our hunger and did not finish all this between the two of us. We got to the place, was busy. The man at the counter was very very friendly, though other people in the place didn't look quite as kind. He got us our order and we were on our way, easy. So we get home and dig in. Hmm. The meal was pretty...underwhelming. The hot wasn't so hot and the hawaiian tasted like they were covered with McDonald's sweet and sour sauce. We did not enjoy the wings, period. We did not enjoy the rolls. They tasted store bought and bleh. We did enjoy the fries. My boyfriend enjoyed the potato salad, I did not. Bottom line is this is not a great wing place.

I have a flatmate who maintains that WingStop has better wings than Buffalo Wild Wings (the husband's favorite). I'm not sure how much of her opinion is influenced by her addiction. Ever since we moved into our San Mateo apartment back in November, she's had WingStop anywhere between 4-7 times a week. She orders the SAME thing each time - lemon pepper wings, fresh cut seasoned fries, and usually, a side of cheese. (Her review: yelp.com/biz/wingstop-sa… ) I hope they start a program like the frequent flyers - she'd have boatloads of points. My husband and I like the wings on the days when they're not stingy on the sauce, the wings/strips aren't cooked for too long (they get chewy), and their fries well-seasoned (that's been, what, 4 out of the 6 times we've had it?). Mostly we've come here out of convenience since they close late. We share the 7-piece order of original boneless strips, the large fresh cut seasoned fries, and a side of cheese, original sauce, and occasionally, the atomic. I absolutely LOVE spicy+tasty foods, but their atomic is much better as a dip than all over the wings - they're more spicy than tasty. They charge you $0.89 extra for sauces/dips, and $1.59 for the hot cheddar. Our order (sharing 7 strips + large fries) usually comes up to around $17. I recommend calling ahead of time to place your order, and double-checking to make sure they have it right before you leave the place.

Super happy that there's a closer Wingstop to us now... (Instead of driving out to the East Bay!) Service here is definitely a hit or miss. During the MLB Playoffs, I picked up a large batch of wings/boneless/strips. They let me mix up the various flavors between the different type of wings as long as I stayed within 3 flavors. On the last visit, I was met with a lot of resistance. UGH! Food seems greasier with each visit. I love the lemon pepper wings but the other ones leave much to be desired. Their ranch sauce is amazing and is definitely worth the drive out for lemon pepper and ranch. Anything else? Do yourself a favor and don't order it. The buffalo wings taste super vinegary and was enough to pickle my tongue. Cajun was a joke being that they sprinkled some random dried herbs on the buffalo sauce. Lame.

The first time I came here I made the mistake of getting the boneless chicken and it just didn't taste right. I learned my lesson and now only get the bone-in wings. There's definitely a flavor for everyone, it's not all hot. They also have my favorite flavor: Cajun. I've tried: 1. Garlic Parmesan: it's okay, not spicy and a little sweet for my taste 2. Lemon pepper: didn't like at all, just a little too tangy 3. Louisiana: good flavor, not too spicy 4. Regular: pretty standard hot wing, spicy and finger licking good 5. Cajun: MY FAVORITE! It's a rub, not a sauce, With lots of zing and definitely spicy 6. Atomic: we started off ordering the atomic but the cashier recommended we order a side of the sauce with a milder wing. Thank you cashier! Atomic is crazy hot but the sauce is good in small doses so we order a milder one like the regular and order a side of atomic sauce for dipping. Not a fan of the fries, they come seasoned and it's a little sweet, so I order a side of cheese sauce and dip the fries. Really awesome touch screen self-serve soda machine where you pick your brand, say coke, and then you pick your mixture, like vanilla or cherry coke. It's free refills and kinda fun. They also carry bottled beer. The service is iffy, sometimes they're cool, sometimes they're not, but it's not like a restaurant so I'm not overly concerned with service and if you like wings, this is a great place to get em.

Hey tall blond dude at the cash register - I know you are looking at something at the cash register, but at least acknowledge your customers when they come up to the counter. Don't just stand there for 30 seconds like I'm not there and then turn your back and go to the kitchen without saying anything. Hey idiots in the kitchen - I know you are only doing this for a paycheck, but when you are 30 minutes late on delivering orders, don't screw around talking with each other and making jokes. Get off your ass and try to at least pretend to be working hard. Hey internet ordering system - I know you are not a person, but when a customer puts in an order and you tell them it will be 24 minutes, why does it take 50 minutes before they get it? And why do customers who come in person and place orders after it's been 30 minutes for my order get their food before me? Hey WingStop manager - I know you probably don't care either, but how about providing a little bit of training to your employees? Hey WingStop owner - Your WingStop store in this location is fast becoming a joke. This is about the 10th time I've come here and the service is progressively getting worse each time. At least the food was good, but waiting 50 minutes for my order last night was only worsened by the ineptitude and lack of caring shown by your employees.

Pretty Expensive. But I really do like to eat here on occasion with my Fiancée. The food is delicious. They bread the wings perfectly. Super crispy and moist. I also love the bread rolls. They are also open until midnight so a great late night stop.

When the Niners make it to the playoffs for the first time since 2002, let me tell you something: as a wing joint, you better be PREPARED. A friend of mine ordered wings a day in advance for the Niners playoff game last Saturday. We expected it to be crowded, but thought we'd be ok since it was an advance order. Nope. This place was in absolute chaos on Saturday. Not only was our order not ready on time (pick up was at 12:45), but they didn't even START making it until we came in to pick it up and showed them our receipt. Furthermore, we witnessed the cashier asking a customer if he wanted to "take it outside," and one of the employees trying to lock the door so no one else could come in and place orders. We finally got our food at 1:30 (45 minutes late) and missed kickoff. I mean, I get it, it was a really intense day to be working at WingStop. I legitimately felt bad for everyone working there. But I also felt bad for the many people there who had been waiting for over an hour for their food, which they had also ordered in advance. WingStop should have expected a busy day and better prepared for it. It shouldn't be so hard to make orders on time when they have been placed ahead of time. Bottom line: If you want to order wings from this place for the Niners game next weekend, or the Super Bowl, or any other big football event, DON'T. Trust me, it's not worth the trouble or anxiety to go pick up the order.

Some people don't see what all the hype is about. But where else can you get fresh, made to order fried chicken? Popeyes? KFC? They don't got no Lemon Pepper or Garlic Parm! Don't get me wrong... I love me some Popeyes! But at WingStop I don't get the guilt trip and the full/gross feeling that fast food tends to give me. Nothin special to me bout the Cajun, Teriyaki, BBQ, Original or Hawaiian. I will say that the Atomic is HOTTT! The cashier had me try the sauce alone, and my lips were burning. Try it out, I think they get a kick out of peoples reactions. From the sides, all I need is the potato salad! The fries aren't for me- sprinkled with sugar, no thanks. Dinner rolls are served fresh, warm and buttery. The veggies are always fresh and crisp as well. As for location, this place isn't my first choice. But for now, I guess it beats the new Daly City location.

HEART ATTACK ready to happen!!! Gees... this place is a very unhealthy, but pretty damn good. Let's me start the review about what the best thing to get. Everything on the menu will burn your wallet. AHHH!!!!! Way over price for the food we get. 10 wing combo might be your best choice as you get to choice two types of sauses, boneless or bone chicken, fries and soda. Soda are free refill and are fountain drinks. The Fries to warn you is coated with sugar!!! YES, SUGAR, SUGAR, SUG!! LOL If you haven't notice why reading this review, I am still overhyper due to that. I am like Daffy in a Looney Toon Cartoon!!! Bounding off walls. The wings are small and small portion. The ATOMIC wings are hot, but not tasty. (by the word 'hot' I meant spicy). It's coated with Habanero Peppers!!! AHHHH!!!!! I NEED WATER!!!! (Run around as if I am on fire) Now to the types of sauses: Lemon Pepper- Probably should be everybody first hand choice. Great taste, and great for your stomach. Mix it with Ranch dressing for uber good taste!!! Yummy!!! Hickory BBQ- Nothing special about this, honestly when I had, it felt like I was eating at Wendys. Not that great. So-So taste. Cajun-Bayou Style's Chicken Wing, that sometimes taste like downtown Boubon Street, and sometimes taste as if it came from a swamp. Third best sauce on the menu. Garlic Parmesan- The second best sauce on the menu. Still, looks like something I can make at home. This taste so good! Hawaiian- Taste like Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7th in my stomach. World War in my tummy. This taste is just dry. Teriyaki- Sorry this is the worst of them all!!!! All I can think of doing when eating this is committing SEPPUKU!!!! That's how much I hate eating it!!! My opinion: get Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper. The dips are Ranch, Blue Cheese, and Honey Mustard. You don't have to pay the dips. I never had a problem like that like some people had. Now about the location: small amble seating. There is a cool duck/goose wearing air jacket. The location is TOP GUN!!! The staff are friendly, the cashier I had, was a hot Asian girl who was friendly. She totally know how to get money from you. I end up buying the more expensive item. She is the only one that can do it, as the others suck. Maybe I have a crush on her, or something. 10 to 15 minutes to wait on food. They are open to 12 AM. Over all: Nice place that has over price chicken. Some of the sauces sucks. Excuse me... I think I am going to ask that girl out.

So many wings. Came here with a bunch of co-workers... most had been raving about this place so it was about time that we tried it out. I had the boneless BBQ and garlic parmesan -- and got to try out the hot ones from someone else since it was so much. It was all pretty delicious and there was enough for left overs. The small catch was that group I was with had to leave to return to the job. Took us the longest time to finally get our orders so if you're going during the weekday lunch rush, go early.

These are by far the best chicken wings Ive ever had and cheap! Their fries are pretty awesome too. The only thing I wish they had are wet naps.

This place has the best wings i have ever had!!! i LOVE this place!! I drive from San MAteo to San Carlos or SSF for these wings. i have tried a few places around san mateo and nothing compares to Wing Stop. Their wings are big and full of flavor. i like to split my order and get half boneless and half bone in with original or hot sauce. This place never disappoints. i think their prices are very reasonable and the service is always with a smile! It can take a little while to get your order, so if you are in a hurry i suggest you call ahead and place your order. We NEED a Wing Stop in San Mateo!!

I guess it's not a bad option for a quick snack, especially in that immediate area but it's nothing to write home about and I definitely don't understand the craze. If you want good wings/drummettes, head to Chinatown and experience - find the right ones and it'll curl your toes! At 10/$6.59 - we got 1/2 teriyaki which was not good as it has some funky taste and 1/2 hickory smoked bbq which was better but still not great. Just too much sauce, over drenched. We decided the wings w/o sauce would have been better and it's not saying much since it was on the dry side. They earned a star for having at least 2 drafts - a decent choice between Sierra Nevada and Stella at $3.75 and it was pretty cold. The large roll of brown paper towel at the counter is thin and like sand paper, really doesn't do much to help wipe the sauces off your hand.

I live in San Francisco and there isn't a wingstop near by. The one close to me will be open in Westlake in Daly City but not till Winter 2010. I am in love with their lemon pepper chicken. Every time i get their fries it seems to be too salty. On the other hand, they have a 10 wing combo which includes fries and a soda which is a good price.

Went there twice now. Had the atomic wings- think ring 'o fire. They make them "fresh" so after you order you sit down and then wait. From a nutritional standpoint it's death and bad for my diet. Not sure if I'll go back anytime soon. But fer sure my body tried to rid itself of the atomics real fast.

I LOVE ME SOME CHICKEN WINGS! Finally went for my first time and seriously! I loved it! The wings were the way I like it deep fried with the original hot sauce on it. The fries were pretty good too! I so would go back soon! I did snack of my Bubba's food too he had the boneless chicken the Garlic Parmesan and Cajun. They were okay im not really a fan of boneless chicken if im going to a place known for their wings. The Garlic Parmesan was a little heavy on the stomach for me and the Cajun they went over board on the spices I started tearing up and my mouth was on fire.

I really don't understand what the great thing is about this place? I am VERY picky about my chicken wings and these just do not make the cut in my eyes. First of all, there is hardly any meat on these wings. They must be from a cornish hen. Second, they are cooked too long. Wings should be juicy, not crunchy. I had the Garlic Parmesan and the Original Hot. I guess the flavors were ok....and by the way, my hands smelled like wings ALL DAY..even after numerous hand washings and lotion applications. So I had to relive this not so fabulous meal....all day. I felt like I had eaten nothing for lunch, I was still hungry after the 10 piece combo. The fries are good by the way, freshly made...but I really wanted to fill up on chicken! When I make wings at home I can barely finish 10. Here I was looking for more. Way more. My advice if you are craving wings? Go to BJ's...at least they have some meat on them and they are not overcooked!

If my boyfriend could live here, I think he would. He loves wings! I on the other hand.....don't think this place is bad, but it's nothing to write home about. I've definitely have had better wings but their wings and flavors are pretty on point. I've tried the Original, Garlic Parmesan, and Lemon Pepper and I'd have to say DEFINITELY get the Original. It meshes perfect with the Ranch. The Lemon Pepper was exactly how I liked it, crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside! However, I'm not a big fan of the seasoning on the fries because you expect it to be a salty treat, instead it's....sweet. It was definitely a confusing moment for me when that first fry hit my taste buds. Also, sometimes they don't automatically give us an extra ranch for our order of 20 wings (10 wings = 1 ranch dipping sauce cup) which makes in awkward to go back and fight for it.

I was already having a bad day... I had been to three Best Buys in a span of two hours to hunt down a digital camera (so I can REALLY become a proficient Yelper), that apparently is harder to find than gold after the California Gold Rush in the late 1850s. To make me feel better, my brother offered to buy me dinner at WingStop, telling me that he "heard" from someone who's cousin knows someone who apparently told someone that WingStop is God's gift to mankind, and the experience will be just as Godly as dining at Cluck-U in San Jose( yelp.com/biz/university-… ). Well, if WingStop is God's gift to mankind, I would have to say God has a pretty weird sense of humor because WingStop is #1 shitty, crappy and nasty, and #2, NOT CLUCK U. We ordered three different types of wings, the Original, Garlic Parmesan and something (I can't recall the flavor name, maybe it was Atomic, Nuclear, or something like that and it doesn't matter if I remember the name or not, because I don't plan on going back). The original and the garlic parm were not impressive, and honestly I think I've had better chicken wings from the frozen section aisle at Safeway. Another thing, the customer service here SUCKS a huge turkey wing. Once we got our drinks, we noticed that there were only three lids left, and all of them had yucky soda goop on them, so my brother asked for more lids. The guy there kept insisting that we use the dirty, disgusting, disfigured ones and when my brother refused and adamantly asked for new ones, he gave my brother the look of death as if he had just asked the guy for his first born. Needless to say, I was unamused. And if they ever want my business again, they should foremost, cook better chicken, replace the bad seeds (I'm looking at you, the cup as* hole), and keep the restaurant clean.

Why do I continue to attempt to eat at this place? Ordered the 3 piece strip combo without sauce but with ranch on the side. Even on an off time, service was slow and my chicken was grossly over-cooked and the fries barely fried. I'm very picky about chicken fingers/tenders and I have to say that this place doesn't come close to getting the job done with my need to satisfy my tender yet crispy chicken desires. Fail-bot away!

Finally, a Wing Stop branch in the Peninsula and it's close to my work. A co-worker and I stopped here for lunch today and the lunch combo totally rocked. You get 10 wings (2 flavors), a choice of side and a drink. The wait didn't take too long considering we arrived around 11:30 am and there must've been a handful of patrons dining in. The wait for the lunch order took less than 14 minutes. My only complaint was the lack of napkins. Wished they had a roll on each table instead of having it near the pick up station. I'd come back here again. I love those lemon pepper wings!

These chicken wings were either harvested from cross-country running chickens or super model chickens because they clearly were lacking in the meat department! Don't get me wrong, I'm all for healthy, lean, mean chicken machines - but not when I'm ready to splurge on a cheat meal worthy of waiting for... Anorexic chicken wings with some decent sauce - not worth the 15 minute wait unless you have a penchant for nibbling tiny bits of dry meat off bones! I'll pass and head to the overweight, couch-potato-chicken wing joint to enjoy fat obese wings next time.

This place has great food but absolutely terrible customer service. I called to place an order for pick up and was put on hold for about ten minutes. At this point I used another phone to call again, thinking they must have forgotten about me. They answered, again put me on hold, and hung up on me on the other line! I have heard similar stories from my friends who have also been hung up on. One other time I waited for about 15 minutes in the restaurant to pick up my food only to find out that it had been ready the whole time. I had to go up and ask if the bag that was sitting there was mine, the girl just smiled and handed it to me after watching me sit there the whole time while my food got cold. I honestly cannot believe how terrible these people are at treating their customers. I will never go back to this place even though the food is delicious. Oh yeah, and always make sure to check your order because they mess it up pretty often too.

I've always had decent service here, but I don't understand how anyone can enjoy these wings if you've ever actually tried good wings. They have a number of flavors/options, but all the sauces in the world don't mean anything on such small meatless wings. Try Sneakers instead or hit up one of the BW3s opening in the east bay.

I was expecting more from a chain wing store. You know, maybe some good wings? I got the 10 piece combo with hickory bbq sauce and the classic hot sauce. After 15 minutes waiting for the wings, I looked at my sauce drenched wings hoping they would be finger lickin' good. They were just ok. The bbq sauce was tangy, but the wings were so smothered in the stuff that I couldn't taste the chicken anymore! And the classic hot sauce was waayyy to vinegar-y for my liking. The plus side to the Stop was the carrot and celery sticks that come with the wings. I don't know about you, but I LOVE my vegetables so I was glad to see I got some amoungst the fried food feast. Overall, if I am really craving wings, and it's 11:30pm, I'll probably just wait till I can find a better place.

I love Wing Stop!!! Can't go wrong with their wings, this location is kinda small and it's always packed. I rather sit and eat then take it to go, their fries aren't good cold. But hands down I'll be coming here whenever I get a chance.

Cut the sugar in half on French Fries and cut the salt in half on breaded chicken strips. My daughter doesn't like Chipotle so she gets Wing Stop. I tried it today and almost choked on breast strips, that's how dry and overcooked they were! And extremely SALTY! Wonder about sodium content on their breading! French Fries look really delicious but wayyyy too much sugar! So again, half the sugar, half the salt, half the cooking time on breast strips and, hey, it could be really good!,,

We came here this past weekend because we were craving some chicken wings, we have never been here and everyone we know says they are the best so we figured we'd give them a shot. UGH - I'm not a fan. We ordered the atomic flavor, lemon pepper and garlic parmesan - the atomic flavor was really spicy but I didn't like the actual flavor, not the usual buffalo sauce I'm use to. The lemon pepper was my favorite but I just wish the wings were more cripsy because after 5 minutes they were all soggy which really ruined them for me. Garlic parmesan were alright, maybe it's just personal preference but they were just too dry but then again it's a dry sauce so I should be to blame for ordering them. Service wasn't the greatest either - the guy who took my order was pretty rude and was very pushy - he had like a "hurry up" attitude - I felt like telling him "CUT ME SOME SLACK! I'VE NEVER BEEN HERE!" And the guy who called out our name said it once and literally 2 seconds later screamed it like he had been waiting forever. I won't be back - I prefer Orginal Buffalo Wings in San Mateo.

Came here with my friends since one of them was craving wings. It was my first time here so I thought I'd give the atomic wings a shot. While looking at the menu I noticed that they have a big variety of flavors, and that they sold 100 wings for around $60, I was wowed by the fact that someone would order $60 worth of wings. I ordered the terriaky flavor, OMG IT WAS DISGUSTING. I ordered that since I cant handle spicy foods, and the cashier said it was the only flavor that wasnt spicy. So I ordered it. After me and my friends ate our wings. We ate an atomic wing each. It is so funny to try with friends since they will have crazy reactions to it. (: Oh ya, forgot to mention, THIS PLACE IS SO TINY, that people fight for the seats here and it gets crazy. And another note, the person saying the names for people to pick up their orders cannot pronounce any name correctly, so listen carefully for your name. XD

i love this wing stop! the past two times i came here with a huge group of 10-20 people at 11pm an horu before they close, their service is still great 5 stars for the original flavors, the good customer service, and for the hot girl that works there! haha

I hate this place! I use to like it until I threw up the last time I came here. I think wings should honestly be cheaper than theirs because it wasn't worth it. One of my best friends threw up because of their food! I'm glad I'm not the only one who wasn't feeling good; it shows something's wrong w/ the way they're cooking the food! Want some better wings? Try Round Table or Costco!

I love eating here with my group of friends for a late night snack. It's open late (till midnight) - though, sometimes I wish they were opened later. There's ample seating and the food is delicious. Definitely would recommend getting either lemon pepper or garlic parmesan.

So couple of things I've learned from coming to this Wing Stop: a) always call in your order 30 MINS before going.....cuz you'll wait forever otherwise b) with the amount of chicken I've consumed at this place....I should turn into a chicken anyday now.... So one thing that is a little strange about this place is that they will always ask for your name first before taking your order. No..nevermind that your already giving them your order...they will continue to ask for your name until you give it to them (or make one up...I like to be Cornholio)...and THEN take your order. Oh well...every place has their thing I guess. Everytime I come here...I always order the same thing....10 pieces of chicken wings...mild flavor..for $7.99. The wings always comes out hot and crispy, and evenly dipped in the sauce. Finger licking good (sorry KFC!)! They do have other flavors of course ranging from Teriyaki (which I'm assuming is their sweetest flavor) all the way to the hottest, Atomic. In case your not sure which flavor you prefer, they will provide you with a small sample of that flavor in a cup to lick to your hearts content. My only complaint though is that they take FOREVER making the order. If your running in here to place your order, grab your food, and make it back to work with enough time to eat it before your 30min lunch ends, forget it. It ain't gonna happen! Once I sat there for 20mins before my order was even ready. And thats with calling it in 10mins in advance *sighs*. So as I mentioned above....call in your orders 30mins ahead....and get the tar and feather ready for when you start clucking from eating too many chicken wings. Definately gonna keep coming back! BWAK BWAKKKKK

Okay check it out, I was in here wearing my brand fucking new $1000 gucci jacket and my versace loafers and a sea of waiters with horribly disgusting dirty hands started caressing my clothes getting sauce all over them. I said "In my one thousand dollar suit? c'mon!" the only good part were the breakfast wings (chicken wings in a bowl of cereal with buffalo sauce instead of milk) and desert wings (buffalo wings with chocolate sauce and sprinkles) if these were the only part of the experience then definitely a five star review, but unfortunately my gucci jacket is now ruined and i was required to wear it in order to enter. And to top it ll off, they lost my car in the valet and gave me some shitty 1996 volvo 960 sedan with a fat ass dent in the side and said it was my car instead of the Lamborghini Murcielago i came in with. when i was asked if i would be back i said "yeah, maybe when my skin become 6 shades darker, goodbye forever"

I originally tried Wing Stop a few years ago when it was mostly (or all) across the bay. Maybe it was my imagination but I remember the wings being bigger or should I say plumper. I thought it was mediocre then and still think it's mediocre. Although I do like the lemon pepper and hot wings I won't go out of my way for it, unlike a lot of people I know. Oh well.

I've been to this specific wingstop twice now. The first time me and a friend got 35 teriyaki wings and some fries. The fries are outstanding, but the wings are just average compared to everywhere else that sells it. The only good thing is that they give you a dipping sauce and you can pick a variety of flavors that you would like. I went again yesterday and tried the garlic parmesian and the BBQ flavors. This time it definitely tasted better. The BBQ flavor is really good but the garlic parmesian is just average to me. Getting parking here is really easy and the store is also really easy to find. There is a parking lot with many other stores around. This is also a good place to have fun with friends or watch the game if you don't have cable at home. There's either 2 or 3 TV's that has sports on so it's really convenient. The service is decent and the place is pretty clean as well.

I ordered a 3 chicken strips combo with fries and a drink for $7.99 before tax. At almost $9, I was expecting some awesome chicken since I could have easily gone to any other fast food chicken place and gotten a similarly advertised meal for $6 or less. I looked at the thing and was already disappointed. These "strips" were damn tiny measuring 2 to 3 inches. They were barely bigger than a Mcdonald's chicken nugget. I have no doubt they were cooked fresh as promised, but the chicken was so dry that they might as well have been sitting under a lamp for an hour. I couldn't swallow them without my soda. The mushy french fries bend and flop under their own weight. While the KFC vs. Popeye's debate is one for another time, you'll find both establishments less than 4 miles away by the intersection of Woodside and Oxford. You're better off with either one of them.

Randomly went here for lunch after returning stuff to TJ Maxx across the parking lot. I was really hungry, and the smell of this place caught my attention as I was walking back to my car. I ordered the combo - 6 wings, fries, and a drink. I got bbq sauce on wings, and ranch dipping sauce. The fries were fantastic! The bbq sauce was probably worse tasting than the cheapest generic brand you could buy at the grocery store, and they put WAY too much of it on the wings. The chicken itself was fine; certainly not dried out, but not delicious or anything. Ranch dipping sauce was very dissapointing. I ate everything and had 2 full sizes of soft drink, but was still very very hungry - it felt like my entire lunch was french fries since the measly 6 wings didnt fill me up. Not completely awful, but def wouldn't go back. Unless I was craving french fries and happened to be in the area.

I don't get it. Dinky wings and drumsticks in interesting flavors. Its just too much effort to suck the little meat there is on each piece. The wait from order to receipt is not commensurate with the food.

I love me some chicken wangs. I ordered the Cajun, Hawaiian, and Garlic Parmesian. I have to say that the Garlic Parmesian is really good, followed by the Lemon Pepper, which my cousin gave me. The Cajun doesn't give me that much of a Cajun Kick, more of just a regular hot kick. And the Hawaiian taste like a milder teriyaki sauce, that I'm not really a fan of. I want to come back and try the other hot ones like Atomic and Original, we'll see how that goes... Ooh get the fries, they're good. And I shook off a little of the garlic parmesian into the fries and that made it better. I don't know if I came on a bad day, because the cashiers all seemed to not like their jobs... but whatever, I'm just happy with my wings.

We have loved wingstop for years, but the last visit we had was alarming. Not sure I'll be back. There was an employee on his break eating wings in the dining room. He dropped a container of sauce on the floor which he cleaned up, then washed his hands in the brand new soda machine. EWWW. Lost my appetite for Wingstop.

You have heard the rumors ... You have heard the hype ... And when you finally go ... Its no big deal... The chicken was okay. My friends and I ordered 35 wings and two sides for about $30. we got the BBQ, Garlic, and Lemon Pepper Chicken. BBQ too saucy, Lemon pepper ... taste like fried chicken ... and Garlic chicken is my favorite. Next time I want some chicken wings, I will buy a platter from Costco or get nuggets at McDonalds. Definitely not worth the drive from Redwood City.

  • Katie R.

The amount of actual chicken on the wings was disappointing (i.e. there really wasn't any). Every flavor tasted a little off (teriyaki that was too smokey, hawaiian that was too sweet and yet bland, BBQ that was oddly spicey) and don't even get me started on the garlic parmesan wings (vaguely garlicy fried chicken with a shake of parmesan on them). When I went there with three friends, they "talked us down" from ordering a 50 piece wings with fries and drinks and instead made us get four individual orders with coleslaw that we didn't even want. Oh, and the chicken was lukewarm, at best. We can do better, guys.

only 2 extremely generous stars... i came in with high hopes and high expectations that this would be my favorite wings joint in the bay area. not so. The name of the joint is a really a warning: "Wings? STOP!!! just move on..." Wing Stop had been in operation for only 3 days when I patronized this establishment on Saturday, August 2, 2008. my order was incorrect. i dropped $50 bucks in this place and was unhappy that my order was incomplete when i arrived home. I purchased 3 sets of different wing packages and a 3 piece boneless chicken strip combo ($8.99) for myself. guess which one was missing? of course, it was mine. 1 STAR for a good brand of wings. 1 STAR for an accomodating manager, Alfredo, who rectified my situation with a guarantee that things will get better over time plus a refund for my order. Thanks Alfredo. PROS: + beer available + call your order in ahead, possibly for faster service (650) 592-WING (9464) I have a hard time receommending Wing Stop until they get their act together. Other CONS: - highish prices (more later) - prices do NOT include extra dipping sauce or vegetables - additional charges for blue cheese or ranch - additional charges for carrots and celery (this is UN-American for wings!) - long waits (20 plus minutes at noontime) - menu is in two different places (above cash register and on the right-hand side wall) - staff does not do a great job telling customers about the different menu options for "Family Packs" for better value and savings. -- NAPKINS! I received NO napkins or plates in my take out order. How do you eat finger food like this and NOT provide Napkins. - Napkins are NOT provided on the individual dine-in tables? WTH? Obviously this should be a 1 STAR review. Again, thanks to management for trying to make things right. I may come back one day... see pictures attached. "Caveat Emptor"

Order ahead! It was a 20 minute wait during lunch for wings, and then they forgot my veggies on the side. The wings were good, except for the garlic parmesan, which were greasy and had little taste. Overall, the Cajun was my favorite. Not enough tables to handle the rush, actually saw some running to get to tables once they were cleared. But you know, its wings, and when football season rolls around, I will be ordering ahead...

Wasn't to thrilled with this place. Read the reviews and most have hit the same issues I had: Waited 20 minutes for my take out order. Wings were just ok - had original hot and teriyaki. French fries had a sweet taste that made them hard to enjoy. Service was friendly and there is plenty of parking. They have a variety of other sauces so I would be tempted to try something different. Next time I'll try the breaded, boneless wings with the dipping sauces.

Well, let's see after reading all the reviews about wingstop I had to go check it out - cuz if you didn't know, I love eating fried chicken... positives - buffalo style sauces (original, cajun, atomic) all good and tasty, liked the garlic parmesan one too, quite different and tasty (but can be very oily - so if you're not into that avoid it), friendly staff negatives - long lines at lunch time - sometimes out the door, long waits for food upwards of 20 minutes, no place to sit inside (I think you can fit maybe 30-40 people sitting inside to eat), bbq sauce tastes like store bought stuff slathered on, teriyaki sauce tasted like watered down kikoman and isn't thick enough to stick on very well, pricey - kinda expensive for wings $6.59 for 10pc and you have to pay extra for dipping sauce $0.89, mixed up orders - on several occasions they have messed up my order by giving me the wrong number of wings in each sauce or even worse forgetting to give me 5 wings!!! all in all - if you get there early (before 1145) or phone in and carry out (also before 1145) you can avoid most of the negatives of the crowds and the mixups and benefit from all the positives - i got there at 1130 one day and there was no line and maybe 5 people eating there

Having lived on the east coast and grown accustomed to some great wings places, I was stoked when I saw this place was opening. I saw they were finally open tonight, so I stopped in. The store appeared clean and the kitchen was open to the counter area. Another customer pointed out that there were 8 tables and at least 10 employees (my guess is they staffed up for the opening). I waited about 15 minutes to get a 10 wing combo and there was only 1 other order that came in after mine. The other customer said she had waited about the same amount of time for 5 wings. The food is "OK", but a far cry from what I would call "good wings". These are small but covered with plenty of sauce. As for my customer experience, since I was waiting for 15 minutes for my order, I was able to observe how the 4 customer facing employees, including the owner, filled their time between customers. 3 of these employees, but not the owner, "joked" about one of the them "not washing her hands" and she proceeded to write on her hands with a highlighter. I took note of it and when my takeout order arrived, with no other customers around, I told the guy that had made this comment that "I knew they just opened, but it probably was not a good idea to joke about an employee not washing their hands in front of customers." He apologized and I left the store, but as I was walking out the door, he shouted out "have a good night", followed by the group of employees, including some off the clock, laughing. I re-entered the store and asked to speak to the manager, he turned and got half way through the kitchen when one of the employees behind the counter said she was the owner. I told her that I was trying to be helpful and polite, but did not appreciate, what in my perception, was being laughed at and I could have just called the city health inspector instead. She said I "was ignorant, did not understand how a restaurant works" and that "the employees at the counter did not touch the food". I told her that "all of the employees are dressed the same and you could not discern between who worked in the kitchen or not." Additionally, they had all walked through the kitchen while I waited. She said "she would speak to them about it", I thanked her and left the store. Unfortunately for me, regardless for my love of wings, the service and attitude of the staff, and the owner, put a bad taste in my mouth. Too bad I have to give it even a single star to rate it.

Oh wingstop...it's me and my clan's version of "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle." Apparently rumor has it that one is going to open in Westlake which is kind of a blessing and a curse. The whole thing about Wingstop if your from the SF-South City area is that its a wonderous, special trip! Like following the rainbow to get to the pot of gold! I wouldn't it say it's fast food because the preparation for the food is anything but fast, maybe that's why it tastes better than let's say Wendy's wings. The sugar fries that usually come with the wings are sooooooo good. Sometimes I have a bit more ansyness for the fries rather than the wings. The garlic parmesan is pretty good but I personallly like to stick to simplicity--Mild. Some people say it's nothing to fuss over, but I think these make the 20 minute freeway trips well worth the drive.

A lot of people seem to dislike this place but I really don't have a problem with it. A buddy of mine and me were at Best Buy and we saw the place from across the plaza. We decided "what the hey, wings are good" and headed over. The wait was a bit long but we were chatting and the time passed by ok. We both got chicken tenders, not wings, so I can't comment on the size of the wings. However, the chicken tenders were a good size and the meat was good quality. I also agree with people about the fries. The fries are very good. I tried tenders at original hot, and cajun, and neither of those was hot enough for me (but I like my food spicy). I'll go back once and try atomic, and see what I think then. If you are looking for a wing place close to Best Buy, this isn't a bad place (just not the best). I think the pricing is fine.

Finally! A WingStop that doesn't require crossing a bridge! We were happy to hear about a WS that opened near us... so we went to try it out. It was pretty packed when we arrived, but we found a table anyway! So, we ordered the family meal (?).. that gave us a choice of 4 flavors out of 50 pieces of wings, included with celery & carrots, 3 different dipping sauce, fries, and potato salad.. For the wings, we picked Lemon Pepper, Mild, Hot, and Garlic Parmesan. And so we waited........ for more than 14 minutes (the amt of time the girl said it would take.....) ***20 minutes or so later, our wings and sides FINALLY arrived. The wings were good as usual, ESPECIALLY the Lemon Pepper.. you hafto hafto hafto try it!! They're amazingly crispy and the flavor is perrrrrfection. Overall, we had no problems with the wings, but the POTATO SALAD.. was disgusting. It tasted like potatoes and water... so we had to complain about them, and they said they would give us another batch of fries. Sure. 10 minutes later, they still haven't arrived, and honestly, they weren't the greatest fries we've ever tasted anyway. ...so we left, and that was that. Hopefully, this WingStop will improve overtime... but for now.. it only deserves 2 stars, 'cause seriously, we have experienced better!!

Overall pretty bad. Bad enough that I won't be coming back. Here's the good stuff: -The Atomic flavor is the real deal. It'll get your nose running and eyes watering for sure. Here's the bad stuff: -Customer service is pretty bad. The employees seem disinterested and a bit rude. I went with 3 of my co-workers and it took 15-20 minutes for each of us to get our food. -The wings are small and dry, especially for the price. 20 itty-bitty wings and a coke was about $14-15. -A little cup of ranch dressing is 96 cents. Seriously, I have to pay for ranch at a Wings place? Bottom line: The only thing that makes me even consider going back is the Atomic sauce. I love spicy foods. If the wings were a bit meatier and juicier, I would. But since they're not, with the service and prices being what they are, I'll never go back.

I've gone back a couple of times and the service was better than the first time I came here. One time they put the wrong sauce on our wings and forgot our fries, but other than that things were good. Glad I noticed they forgot our fries before I drove away! I still crave their boneless strips with hot sauce, hawaiian, lemon pepper or garlic parmesan. Wings are best with their original hot sauce. Will go here to satisfy may cravings for strips & wings!

Thanks to Danielle and folks, I ordered ahead on the phone right before I walked into Petsmart to pick up some goodies for Chingoo. Granted this place is new and the median age of employees is probably 19! So when I phoned in, I had to hold and Kyle took my order. Just a 10 piece wing with Cajun flavor please. He had to ask me what flavor I wanted...tried to sell me the meal..no just the 10 piece and a side of veggie sticks. He told me my total and quoted me 14 min. Headed on over after Petsmart and quickly picked up my items. Price was 7.13...but no veggie sticks. It's okay, I didn't know it would cost $1.49 for some cut celery and carrots....I'm glad I didn't get charged, so nothing lost. Even around 2 pm the place was filled up, not packed but filled up. Ahh, I like seeing folks drinking beer on a weekday early afternoon. The wings though - dude it's so freakin SALTY! And the Cajun had Italian seasoning on it - oregano and the like. Uh, I grew up in Louisiana, and folks there do not use oregano or basil. I thought maybe Tony Chacherie's or some seasoning of salt, paprika, cayenne, etc...not oregano! Wings were tasty albeit salty...gonna just stick to the original hot.

Definitely a long wait for some itty, bitty California-style quasi-buffalo wings Service was um...not stellar. Walked in Fri. night to find an employee and manager have a heated disagreement (in full view of customers) and the 2nd cashier standing around oblivious to the fact that people wanted to place their order. Bad sign. Wings were ok - small, a bit overdone so not terribly juicy. Had the "original" sauce which was far too tame. Might go back to try the Cajun or Atomic to see if either of those has the requisite fire. Bleu cheese dressing was good - appeared to actually have real cheese it. What's the deal with having to pay extra for celery and carrot sticks? Obviously whoever runs this chain doesn't know jack about what is supposed to be served standard with buffalo wings. For those who don't know, it's bleu cheese dressing, and celery and carrot sticks. No filler of french fries -- just gimme a big 'ol pile of wings!

Where's my bib? Thing's are about to get messy. Although I consider myself somewhat of an epicurean that appreciates fine dining and fancy, expensive restaurants, I can also be a no frills guy that can appreciate finger foods you might find at your local sports bar. And I'm sure my fellow YELPERS would agree with me that wings can be considered a form of bar food. Sometimes you just want to scarf down a bunch of chicken wings like a rabid dog and get sauce all over your face while doing so. At least, that's how I feel. This place had some good wings. I've only had the garlic parmesean and mild wings, but I think they're pretty good. Your order can take up to 15 minutes to be ready, at least that's how long I had to wait, and I came in on a slow night.

WINGSTOP--Here I COME I love that it's made to order and is so fresh. It's always fun to watch the cooks actually make the wings. I like to wait a few minutes after the wings are fried so the juices kind of settle in. Anytime we are at Best Buy or the Golf Shop its a great excuse to head over to WingStop. (PS, they also do catering)

Chicken wings are my vice and I'm not afraid to admit it. Whenever I see it on any restaurant menu, I get weak in the stomach and automatically want to point at it and exclaim to anyone close-by my love of wings. That being said, I'm very picky about chicken wings. I've never been to a WingStop and I was excited to try this out for the first time. All in all WingStop fulfilled most of my wing appetite but not completely! Maybe it was because of all the hype or maybe I didn't choose the right items. I'll start off with the general ambiance of the place. The place is small but cozy. Unfortunately the only seats available when we got there were near the restrooms. When your order is ready, you are just given the chickens in trays with little ceremony. Paper towels on a roll and utensils are left up to us to fetch. My boyfriend and I chose three flavors: Original Hot, Garlic Parmesan, and Lemon Pepper. I was the most excited about the last two. I like to try new and interesting flavors and these immediately caught my eye. Out of all three, I was surprised I liked original hot the most. It was crispy but not overly fried and the hot sauce gave a nice hot tangy flavor to the meat. Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper were a bit disappointing to me. They both touted two flavors that were supposed to come together in sweet harmony. But that didn't happen. The garlic parmesan yielded only an overpowering cheesy taste. I could not taste any garlic at all and I love anything garlic related. I only tasted the lemon in lemon pepper. I figure if you're going to incorporate two flavors in one, you'll at least taste some of each! Don't get me wrong though, I still thought all of them tasted delicious but if you're going to put two flavors I want to taste both. I still give it 4 stars because even if it was cheesy, or lemony, it was still darn good chicken wings. Enjoy!

The good: They toss their wings and the original hot is actually not bad. The bad: Everything else associated with this place (which has been previously chronicled by other Yelpers). Went back once thinking my first attempt was not the norm - I was wrong.... I had high hopes for a good wing place. Guess I'll have to keep looking. I wouldn't wait 35 minutes for 10 good wings... NEXT!

This place is pretty good. I went to Chipotle first because it's like 3 stores down, but then I was still hungry afterwards (Chipotle's burrito is crappy.. why do I keep going there? I will never know...) This place is good though. The fries are your typical fries from a bar, nothing too special. Kind of like the fries from Great Steak and Potato. Some people will like it, some people won't. The chicken themselves don't have as much meat, so I bought the boneless ones instead. Mild flavor. They were pretty good, I killed them in like 4 bites, one for each. But they were still pretty fulfilling. Some people said the lemon pepper or garlic is the best, but I've always been a big fan of wings + spicy. If my throat wasn't acting up, I would of tried the atomic one. But anyways, this place gets 3stars, cause it's pricy in terms of dollar per chicken, and that you have to pay xtra for the sauce. UGH :O

  • Andy C.

Had their Lemon Pepper...started out awesome but then noticed that for whatever reason, the wings were starting to taste more salty. So the last few were more like Lemon Pepper Salt Wings...lay off on the salt shaker...the lemon flavor is just fine without it. Maybe next time I need to specifically ask for no salt or something.

It's ok.. just that ok. Decent fries, and i actually think their fries are better than their chicken... which is why it sucks, cuz the place is called WING stop. at least the people were friendly enough

So my sister just had a baby at Sequoia hospital in Redwood City. YAY! The Wingstop is right down the street. I have only had Wingstop TOGO from Union City...so this was is new to me. Since i'm just down the street i decided to go since hospital cafeteria food wasn't very appealing. The person taking our order was a bit slow but i gave her a chance since i think she's new. The BEST flavors are the LEMON PEPPER, MILD and HICKORY SMOKE BBQ! They have a very wide selection of sauces. I LOVE DRUMETTES! The size of the chicken is perfect and the prices aren't too bad. BETTER THAN HOOTERS! I had it everday that she was in the hopsital :) I'd make a drive from Daly City to San Carlos for those any day :)

Most of the wings suck excluding the garlic parmesian. Now that wing is the business. Wing Stop literally gets all it's stars from that flavor even though I'm still starving after killing a whole 50 piece meal. The size of those wings makes me laugh hysterically. I guess it gets half a star for it's convenient hours as well (open till midnight).

I been here a couple times, first it was crowded as heck and we waited a long time for a table then our order. They seemed to be still getting their groove as a new restaurant and all... been there 3 times since and it is pretty good. I love the Hickory Smoked BBQ and Garlic Parmesan. Seems like even when we try to get here early for dinner (5:30pm), it's already crowded. So be prepared to wait for a seat and some time for your order.

Wing Stop...Stop!! I must admit the Chicken have a good flavor and cooked almost perfectly, but are you willing to pay over $2.00 per chicken strip for the 3 piece boneless strip combo (3 pieces of average size chicken strips, 1 drink, 1 order of regular seasoned fries and 1 dip) total price with tax $8.73. I had to try this place, since my friends and co-workers suggested, so I gave it a try...after I got over the sticker shock, I was expecting the king of wings (in my case the Creme de la Creme of Chicken strips); what I got was above average sauced strips, not really worth $2 a pop. The seasoned fries were not crisp. I could not taste any seasoning season, but I did taste a little sugar (I guess this counts as a seasoning). The fries tasted better when I dipped it into the dip that came with the meal. I came, I saw, I ate....will I come again....I don't I would, at least not at those prices.

I had been to a Wing Stop in Colorado and could not wait for this place to open. I have since been disappointed. In Colorado, the wings I had were juicy and flavorful and made me drive by this location about once every couple of weeks to see if it was open. Maybe they're still working out the kinks, but in the two chances I've given this wing stop the wings have been dry and hard to swallow; or overly seasoned to maybe disguise the dryness and bad texture? Yes, if I choke on lemon and pepper I might not notice that the dry and hard piece of chicken is also lodged in my throat. I've had better hot wings from KFC and at least KFC has a uniform standard of quality.

The peninsula is a barren wasteland for buffalo chicken wings. I had high hopes for WingStop, having enjoyed locations in Washington in the past. Watched eagerly through its buildout, went on Day 2 of opening, have been back three times since. Unfortunately this one's a pass. The wings are small, some with almost no meat at all. The only good sauce is the regular "Hot" (which is, to be fair, excellent), but none of the others is good ("Atomic" is an atrocity). On one visit my wings came out only partially covered in sauce. The ordering line moves quickly, but actual service is *slow*, largely because they don't seem to be handle the crush of people. To add insult to injury, they charge extra for a dollop of ranch or blue cheese. At a place specializing in wings? Just not very good wings. What more needs to be said about a wing place?

Wing Stop ..... cough..... doesn't have a lot going for it. I came with three friends around 6pm on a Friday night. The restaurant was relatively busy and it features TVs on each of the walls. Now that I am done with the positives, here are the negatives that counteract the "TVs on the wall" positive: 1) There is no meat on the chicken bones 2) Ordering takes close to 20 minutes due to lack of server knowledge 3) The restaurant clientele is ....interesting 4) The sauces are horrid. I wouldn't come back :-(...go to Chipotle instead!

I was introduced to WingStop years ago at a Christmas party and have not had them again until this past Super Bowl. I enjoyed the lemon flavored wings. Then my husband happened to drive by Wingstop on our way back from IKEA. We were able to find a back table for our family of 4. My son ate the Lemon-Pepper wings and he loved the french fries. The hot was tolerable. Hawaiian was okay, but I prefer the Teriyaki. Okay, it's not like Southern-styled fried chicken... but they're pretty good wings because of the variety of flavor. Other than Lemon-Pepper, I also like Teriyaki. I took away one star because there was no changing table in the bathroom. But at least they had high chairs and the back area was private enough that I could nurse my youngest while eating.

Wings way too dry. Waiting time can be quite long. The flavour came more from the sauce that got dumped on. Services good though.

I 'crave' wings about once every two years. Today was one of those days must of been because football was on the tv when I left the house to go take photos. I remembered a place near best buy in san carlos. 10 wings 1/2 original hot and 1/2 cajun. no blue cheese no extras. I just want wings. They yelled out my name 10 minutes later and spicyness hits the tongue. Oh and some salt too. The salt was the cajun wings since they add a dry rub type spice on top of the regular wing sauce. the mix is too salty but I like the idea. The original hot was just what I needed. That vinegary red pepper sauce and lots of it. The meat was juicy and tasty. They get an extra star for not being greasy at all. I rarely eat deep fried anything anymore and when I do if it's bad I get a major deep fried hangover. No problem here. Being an east coaster, i've had bad wings on that coast as well as this coast. WingStop wouldn't fall into that category. Yeah the wings are old school size, not that mega hormoned sized stuff. It was fine for lunch. The interior is basic but decent. The airplane wing bits nailed to the wall was weak. The game was on their lcds. The nose ran just a bit and I aquired red orange tinted fingers-to remind me of lunch. The perfect wing fix.

Great Service. Good food. Here's my commentary on WHY it takes about 15 minutes to get my order --- Maybe some people don't realize this, but they cook to order so everything comes out nice and fresh, and I'd rather wait that extra 5 minutes to get that extra touch... Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this Wing Stop.

Before the Wingstop in Daly City opened, the San Carlos location was the closest for me and I'd come here from time to time. I can proudly say this wingstop was the one that took my virginity. And my first time was awesome. Lemon pepper and garlic parmesan hit the spot. This wingstop will always have a special place in my heart. Sorry Daly City. I feel like such a whore.

So it's a Friday night and me and the hubby are bored as hell, sooo why not take a drive down the way and we ended up at one of my favor spots!!! WING STOPPER BABY!!! We, order 20 piece Garlic Parmey and a large order of fries and a lemonade to wash erethang down. We sit and watch the "most amazing plays" of TV and in about 10 - 15 minutes our wings are R.E.A.D.Y!!! OMG the Garlic Parmey Wings are to DIE FOR!! The fries were so good they were like a little sweet....yummy! Wings were NOT dry, they were just right..flavor and all!! I wanna give a 4.5 (- half a star) because of the drive from daly city. So if you want some wings I think this is the nearest one to fog town and your best bet by far!!

Those were the smallest chicken wings I've ever had. Ordered them with Cajun sauce. Tasty, but I am not quite sure what was Cajun about them. I had the 10 piece and I am still hungry. Tasty yes, but a little dry and too small... I won't be back.

Wow. My family+ BF came here on our way home from SFC, and I was SO disappointed. We didn't order alot-- we ordered about 20 pieces of wings and 2 orders of fries (And for US that was a little!, and we were hungry too!) lol.. Anyway, the place wasn't AS crowded as the WingStop near Downtown San Jose, but the service was SLOWER!.. It took us about 30-35 minutes to get our food.. & I found that to be unacceptable =./ . The only pros about this WingStop is that it has best buy, jamba juice, starbucks, and even game stop in the same vicinity. Other than that.. I rather go to a KFC around the area than come here.

  • Ted A.

I was down at Golfsmith and stopped by here on the way home. Ordered 6 piece meal w/Lemon Pepper wings to go. I get home and find I only got 5 wings. Flavor of wings was just OK as were the fries. Wings themselves seemed kind of small. Also if you're in a hurry dont stop here. Order seemed to take quite a while even though it was not busy.

This is the second time I went to Wingstop, unfortunately their system to get the food out need adjustment,as the wait for a small 10 wing meal, took forever, besides waiting to get my order in-which was the first 5mins wait, then the food wait was 12mins, it is not a place to get fast food... And then the wing is over fried, that it tasted like very little meat ,maybe the chicken wings they get have little meat??? The flavor seasoning is tasty, but they seem to over do it, so the verdict is mixed,as I think the first time was better, and today was ho-hum.. So I will opt to go get KFC,instead next time ..

This place is a solid 3 star fast food type wing place. They have many different flavors from cajun to mild and hot. One unexpected thing is they have beer on tap and also serve pitchers!

  • James H.

Not that service was bad or the place wasn't clean, it's just that the feeling one gets when they walk in a place and you know what you are about to put in your mouth is just wrong. Maybe it was the heavy feeling in the air from all the deep fat fryers, maybe it was the fact that you know the chicken is industrially raised. I'm not sure what, but even my kids got the feeling that this place wasn't right. Like Adam Z. "It's just Chicken."

Let me start by saying that I give this place 1 star because ZERO stars is not an option (something for YELP to correct!). For the FORTH, that's right FORTH time (why I still give these people my money is a mystery) these meatheads got my order WRONG!! I phoned in my order, 10 lemon pepper and 5 cajun wings. I get home with my food only to find that there is NO cajun seasoning on the cajun wings. I phoned and spoke with the manager, who was "very sorry" and he offered to re-make the order and personally deliver it to me...no thanks, pal! I've been to 3 different WING STOP locations here in the Bay Area, the other two are pretty good. This one, not so much. Even when they manage to get the order right, the food is sub-par at best compared to other locations. From now on, if I want wings, I'll drive across the bay to Fremont and go to HOOTERS!!

I moved to the Bay Area in 1990 and one of the big things I miss about living in Western NY is the chicken wings. I just went back there for a vacation and had Pontillo's chicken wings a few days ago which were excellent and I came home and did a taste test with Wingstop wings tonight. The Yelp star guide expresses my feelings perfectly, "Meh. I've experienced better." They'll do in a pinch, but I'm not craving them.

If your in the San Carlos area there are a lot better options then WingStop. The quality of the meat is average at best. I've been to this location a few times hoping to like it and always come away disappointed. Never again!

I ate at the Wing Stop this past weekend for the first and last time. I was at a near by store and it actually smelled very good, so I decided to get it a try. I ordered 5 pieces of: lemon pepper, Hawaiian and garlic Parmesan with fries and a drink. The wings had more bones than chicken and the sauces where not so good. I really wanted to ask for my money back, because I did not like the food at all. Good: The fries were the best part of this experience. Bad: Wings with extra bones!!! BTW - They will try and upgrade everything you order!!!

No, No, No. I've been to Wing Stop a total of 10 times. I've really tried to give it my all - despite the small selection of sauces, we were fine with the long waits. And yes, what other users are saying is true. 1. Either it's under sauced, over sauced or perfect. There is no consistency and it really depends on whose cooking that day - what kind of wings or fries you get. 2. The wait for Fast Food is too long. I've never been to the San Jose location, but knowing how busy the San Carlos one is, so close to Best Buy, etc - you'd think they'd plan ahead. The kicker for me was when I went to Wing Stop this past weekend, came in with NO LINE and the girls behind the counter couldn't even get my order processed. The idiot swipped my card 3 times, even though i told her to STOP. I knew, I knew she was charging me despite what she said. "Oh, this wasn't a charge! See, the transaction is ZERO" I knew she was a liar so we left and went to Chipotle's. Fast and no problem. Cut to today, I have charges on my card for wings I didn't even purchase. My no-wing purchase cost me close to $60.00 Now I have to go through this big process to get it reversed and all because they don't understand the word "STOP". Listen, if you want to keep going here, be my guest, but pay attention because they don't know what they are doing and will screw you over.

This would be the third Wing Stop location I'm putting up for review. I've come to the conclusion that my favorite is the lemon pepper strips with a side of potato salad. My friend let me try one of her bbq wings. Eh! Not alot of meat on those things. It seemed a bit overcooked too. When I think of this place, I often cringe at the thought of their prices. My order of the strips (4 of them), salad, and a drink cost me almost $10. Yowza! I like you Wing Stop, I really do. But this isn't something I can commit to on a regular basis.

  • Kevin W.

Went here after reading the reviews here on yelp. I will agree the wings are small. They are good. Had 10 original and 10 Hickory BBQ. The BBQ was a little messy, and the original needed just a but more flavor. Also, the price is a little high for what your getting. The 20 wings and a regular size soda cost me $16.10. One other complaint, they have no trash cans WTF? If you want to sit at a table, you have to clean it yourself because the staff isn't going to do it. It's a shame, dirty tables and people looking for a place and they have to either, push the trash to the side or clean it themselves. I might go back one day, but not anytime soon.

WOW. These guys are the real deal. Lemon pepper is the business! Also tried the bbq, it was good too. Even their original was good with our strips. Good food overall. I would definitely recommend this place for your wings fix. =0)

The only reason I dislike this place is because the customer service was HORRIBLE. I was standing in line with my boyfriend behind 1 small group of people. There were atleast 6 (no exaggeration) people behind the counter standing around talking, while only one person was working one of the registers. Then because the people infront of us needed more money for their beer binge, one of the people in their little group went outside for like 10 minutes and instead of helping who was next the cashier waited for them and never said a word to us like "oh I'm sorry, it'll be just a moment". I don't mind waiting if someone is polite and actually cares about their customer service. Needless to say, I walked out without even trying a thing, and don't plan on going back.

I've been a huge wings fan since I went to school in upstate New York. That said, I'm not so much of a purist that I can't find wings I enjoy at most restaurants that serve them. So when WingStop opened in my town I got really excited. But I was disappointed in just about every way when I went. The prices are sky high! A dozen wings + celery and blue cheese will set you back over $10 - and $2 of that is celery (?!?!). The drumsticks were the smallest I've *ever* seen. Sauce was accetable. Fries weren't bad. But I'm quite frankly insulted by the prices and the lack of food you receive.

I was so excited to finally go to Wing Stop and grub! I am a huge fan of buffalo wings and when I tasted these... I was like meh. Seriously. Can they not do a better job? I think I can make some waaaay better wings than this place. My favorite buffalo wings are still at St. Stephen's Green in Mountain View. The best! The hottest wings at Wing Stop were more salty than hot. blah.

This place is pretty weak. I've been 3 times just to give it a fair shake and have come to the same conclusion every time. Too long a wait for your food, too expensive for what you get, and the food is very underwhelming. I think that Hooters blows this place out of the water when it comes to food and staff.

I don't know bout others, but I like my chicken cooked. So I'll wait the 15 minutes for my wings to be cooked and not come out raw! I've been to multiple Wing Stops and have always waited at least 12 minutes for my wings. I think it's due to the fact that the wings are made fresh according to each order. So you won't hear any complaints from my end about me waiting long for my order. It was just the opposite for me. I ordered the 20 piece wings (lemon pepper and garlic parmesan), fries, baked beans, and ranch. I got my whole order in about 15 minutes. I was actually surprised when they called my name because I was expecting to wait longer. The fries were great, not too soggy or anything. The wings were fantastic. Not salty at all. The ranch....tastes different. The one in Hayward tastes like they put garlic in it. So I guess, I've grown accustomed to their ranch. Other than that, I liked this Wing Stop and would go there whenever I'm on that side of the San Mateo bridge and need a wings fixin. I've gone to restaurants right when they first open and have always had negative experiences. Now I've learned to give the place a month or two to get into their own groove of cooking their food and serving their customers. Give this Wing Stop some time and hopefully you'll get the same great food and service I had.

I ate here again recently with my friend and cousin who never tried it here before and we decided to share the family pack which came with 35 wings, large fries, and celery and carrots. I shared a drink with my friend. Your allowed to have up to three flavors so we decided to get the Original Hot, Hickory Smoke BBQ and the Lemon Pepper. This is definitely an awesome place for wings. Wings are perfect sizes, not small either and are always fried to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. All the flavors that we tried are must tastes. The only thing I don't like about when I eat here is that it doesn't get me full, but that's just me.

This particular WingStop wasn't that busy when we went there for the first time, so that was a big plus. Also, I think this was the only branch that was near us on this side of the Bay. (Damn, Vallejo has one in my favorite shopping center!) Ordering the $43.99 combo was a piece of cake, and it definitely came out faster than the 14 minutes it was promised. We also wanted to add another smaller combo because we were afraid we weren't going to have enough wings, and that came out even faster. If the Daly City one is ever too busy to serve us, at least we know this one here is quick!

I am going to miss Monday Night Football and wings! Yes, it sounds cliched but it's good. I get 20 wings (half garlic parmesan and half bbq) with fries to go and split with the hubbie and kick back. I haven't tried the other flavors but those 2 are great.

A very good/consistent wing joint that's close enough to head down on a whim. Lemon pepper and louisiana rub flavors on naked/non-breaded are probably two of my favs. But most importantly, I love the soda machine here. By far the best soda machine I have ever seen at a restaurant. You can choose one of 9-10 sodas and add one of 7-8 flavoring syrup. The machine doesn't really make sense if you drink diet sodas (ones without sugar) but if you want that extra orange in your Fanta, or a boost of grape/strawberry with your Crush, you now have the option to go for it. Plus it closes at midnight so TacoBell doesn't have to be your only option.

wingstop in san carlos is GREAT!...i always order the 10 wing combo and add 5 wings and i normally get original hot and garlic parmesan.. also try lemon pepper and you HAVE to get bleu cheese for the spicy wings.. atomic is also very good and pretty hot!! so if your feeling kinky try these...a great smokey flavor then the hotness comes in...try not to get the sauce on your lips though....they will burn after a while haha...if you have never had atomic before...try them with the chicken strips first..that way u can cut it up and plop them into your mouth!

Went there for lunch today with a buddy of mine; it was the first time for both of us. I ordered the 10 wings (original hot and garlic parm), fries and a drink. The wings were really small. The original hot were neither "original" or "hot". The sauce they used tasted like your standard sauce you can buy at Safeway. The garlic parm were ok; maybe a little too greasy (looks like they toss the wings in garlic butter then sprinkle parm cheese). The "seasoned" fries had no seasoning on them at all and were slightly over cooked for my taste. I paid $10.90 (including tax) for the 10 wings, fries, and soda. On the way out noticed a sign promoting the "10-Wing Combo" for $8.99 plus tax. The combo included the same thing I ordered; not sure why the guy behind the counter did not suggest I go with the combo once I ordered. No bigge....probably will not go back.

I don't know what the problem is. In the beginning this particular wing stop was great. The last few times I have gone there the wings were dry and the fries not really seasoned. So we had taken to asking for the wings "wet" and extra seasoning on the fries. the last 3 times we have gone, one of the orders is PERFECT with sauce and seasoning and one the wings are still dry, I mean you can tell there is sauce but its almost like they sat too long, if that makes any sense. I like sauce on my wings, I like to dip my fries in the sauce. this is what I like, I am willing to pay for it then just give it to me. I called to complain and the manager is like well bring it back. Um no I don't want to have to bring my food back I want it right the first time, I don't understand how one order can be right and one wrong? Response "It depends on who is making the wings", ok so does someone not able to speak/read English properly or fluently? What do I need to do to make sure my order is right. Check it before I leave? I will go back one more time. See what happens.....

I've been to wingstop maybe a half a dozen times over the years, and this particular location twice now. First time I got hickory BBQ wings...very little meat, a lot of money, and way too much sickeningly sweet sauce. This time I got garlic parmesan boneless strips with french fries...small portions for $11, soft fries, and the flavoring on the garlic parmesan had more in common with movie popcorn butter than garlic and/or parmesan. The service is fine but the food's very mediocre for the price.

when i think of a perfect date.... nice romantic restaurant, candle lights, chocolate strawberries, fine wine, and classical music aint got nothing on 10 piece wings (permesan and bbq), beer, and a dvd. i have been to serveral wingstops throughout the bay area (and mostly with for dates) and this is one of the better ones. the one in oakland is still way better, but this one is better than the on curtner in san jose. its a nice location kinda central and its open until 11 (or midnight i dont remember) but still they are more generous with their chicken selection that others. ohh cant wait to go again for my next date (eventhough i have no problem rolling to wingstop solo dolo)

Buffalo wings are the perfect food for football games, and there aren't many choices for buffalo wings in the area without sitting down at a restaurant. So with football season starting, I figured I'd give Wing Stop a try. I tried the Original Hot, Teriyaki, and Hawaiian. The Original Hot was great, with just the right amount of kick for me and lots of flavor. The Teriyaki was also delicious, but the Hawaiian didn't have enough flavor to do anything for me. Next time I'll try the Garlic Parmesan, which looks interesting. Personally, I wouldn't want to make a meal out of an appetizer, so I wouldn't think of eating there, but for finger food snacks, like for the big game, it's perfect.

This place is totally ban-worthy. I've banned them myself for the mere lack of service and promptness. "Your order will be ready in 14 minutes!" Hah.. Yeah right. Maybe if all you order is a soda. I think they hire from the same talent pool that movie theaters used to hire from. So freakin frustrating. One WS worker tried to talk me down from ordering the atomic sauce. And when I told him that I really wanted the atomic sauce, he copped the *I'm a lowlife and I hate my job* attitude with me. I felt like reaching over the counter and pulling the silly lil wingstop bill on his cap over the front of his pimply face. Instead, I wandered over to the greasy tables by the TV deal and proceeded to wait somewhere between 25 minutes and an eternity, before I finally ask for the manager. She managed to take a few minutes off her lunch, which she was taking in the restaurant (tacky & lame with limited seating), and act like she knew what went wrong. She got me my order after another 15 minutes. My lunch was over and so was all the excitement that I had built up waiting for the place to open. I'm cool. I'll go elsewhere. BANNED! I will admit that the wings were decent. All the ones I tried were, except for the teriaki. Which were very weird. Atomic are super hot and good. Overall the wings were overpriced and sorta small, but that didn't bother me as much as the service. A friend of mine went there recently and complained that the service was hella slow and that they made her late for lunch. I will uphold the ban for now. No need to spend that hard earned dollar at mo-tard central.

The wings are remarkably small. They're almost like little squab wings. The concept is interesting with all the different flavors. But, in the end, it's a boring product from some place trying sell you wing meat (cheap and fatty) at whole chicken prices.

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with my team and I was not disappointed at all. I love the large list of sauces that you can choose for your wings or strips. I went with the 3 chicken strip combo with the sweet and tangy Hawaiian sauce. It was delicious along with the fries which really hit the spot. My only disappointment is that there is not a location in San Francisco yet because I would definitely be back very soon. I want to try the wings next time!

I wanted to share a horrible experience that my fiance', and two children (ages 7 and 11) had at the WingStop located at 1135 Industrial Road, San Carlos, CA on January 18, 2013 at approximately 6:00pm. A WingStop employee was not only rude and accusatory but handled food in what appeared to be an unsanitary manner. After receiving her order and driving home she discovered that three yeast rolls were not in the bag. She drove back and showed the receipt to the employee and explained that three rolls were missing. He told her in an accusatory manner that he needed to see the bag. She went back to car to get the bag and handed the bag to the employee/cashier. The employee/cashier then proceeded to dump the entire contents of the bag onto the counter top. He searched through the bag and box of wings with his bare hands which minutes earlier had been touching money from the register and other customers. Only after embarrassing my fiance' in front of her two children and other customers did he offer to give her the rolls that she had already paid for. He never apologized for any inconvenience.

I was very disappointed in the waiting time, which was 37 minutes for an order to go. Even the people that came in that phoned ahead waited at least 10- 15 minutes. After finally receiving the meal the chicken was not hot, so why did I wait so long if the chicken sat there so long that it had time to cool off? The fries were hotter but over salted so much I could not eat them, and I am one that loves salt. I watched the cooks in the back and they all seemed to be not working together or as fast as they should have. They even looked unmotivated. This is a fast order food restaurant but if you have to waste over half you lunch time waiting what good does it do to go there. I hope that my comments help yWingstop in improving your not so well oiled machine.

This Wing Stop is great! Since it was my first time, I had no idea what to order, so the owner personally recommended me to try the lemon pepper flavor wings and it is now my favorite!! The wings are served nice & hot and packed with flavor. Even though I had to wait 15 minutes to get my order it was definitely worth it! I am now addicted to Wing Stop thanks to this place!

Came here basically expecting just your normal greasy spoon type of grub. I'll start off by saying that ordering at this place is a pain in the ass. The guy taking me order was totally annoying with his fake ass-overly friendly personality ,and confusing way of explaining the menu and options. The sauces that i ordered on the wings were over powering, salty and masked any taste of chicken flavor at all. Completely inedible in my opinion. The fries were so over-salted that I could only eat about two fries ,and I like fried salty foods ,but I couldn't even touch this salt lick plate of food. Never again, thanks

Went to Wing Stop a couple weeks ago. Phoned in order for 35 lemon pepper wings and they told me 15 minutes. I arrived about 10 minutes later and still had to wait 15 minutes. It was mass confusion in there. When I received my order, I knew there weren't 35 wings (less than 20 when I opened the box). Was just about to show the employee who gave me my order when another one came running from the kitchen with the rest of my order apologizing for the other employees mistake. Not a good sign. As for the wings - they were very small, dry and salty. Don't they specialize in wings? I know of many other restaurants that serve much better wings and charge less. I have been to a couple of other Wing Stops in the East Bay and their wings were much better.

So we ordered 10 pcs of garlic parmesan wings and 10 pcs of lemon pepper chicken and when we got them, they were very hot. The garlic parmesan wings were good, but the lemon pepper wings were great. Personally, I think that the lemon pepper wings that they have are the best in the bunch. The service was ok, the cashier was very polite, but the wait time was kind of long. I think that it is awesome that they put out rolls of tissue paper so that you don't get it all over yourself and make yourself look like a fool. All in all, this place is great for when you have a craving for wings.

Definitely try out the Lemon Pepper chicken wings. I was there with my boyfriend the other day. He's been there before and he decided to take me there to try things out. Pricing is reasonable. The wings were crunchy and flavorful. Lemon pepper is the winner! :D The fries were okay. Nothing too special. The place was kind of rowdy and there were a lot of people. Seating was spacey and the people taking the orders were nice and smiley.

I LOVE WING STOP! My fave wings are the lemon pepper...YUMMY!! Now I'm craving them. The place is pretty freakin' simple - order your wings - alot of different seasonings to choose from, and you can order sides...I always order the fries - double yum! And grab a bunch of paper towels...then devour and enjoy! Gotta love it. I wish there was one in SF :) oh well...I miss you wing stop!

I live 20 minutes away from this wingstop and I'm willing to drive here to eat every time I crave for it. What does it tell you? It's good! Dont expect too much from this place. The name says it all....WING STOP. They only have chicken wings and strips! The best flavor is lemon garlic and garlic parmesan. All the other flavors are not too great. The fries are yummy! I must warn you...the wings are oily and saucy...so dont come here if you are on a diet or want to eat healthy! It's definitely not a place if you are trying to stay fit! I'm craving for some now. Maybe you'll see me there tonight!

Big fan, always come here... I do the 2 can dine +5 wings and it's a pretty sweet deal. Sometimes though, the things are a little smaller in size, BUT I LOVE the LEMON PEPPER and CAJUN flavors. The Ice Tea is GREAT as well... I was disappointed that the one off of Automall in Fremont didn't have that... Overall, I enjoy the food and the TV's. Great for a quick casual meal.

As far as I know, this location opened yesterday and it does indeed live up to the chain standard. The original hot wings are my favorite so far and the lemon pepper are quite tasty as well. I don't like how they charge for carrot and celery sticks especially with the amount they give you. I know very well that you can buy a whole bunch of celery for less than a dollar. Also, I'm pretty sure that they put a mix of salt and SUGAR on their fries, which is just weird. Also, it takes a really long time to get your food, so it's in your best interest to call ahead. I'll be back for the wings, but I'll probably avoid the sides. Oh, and would it kill them to have a side salad on the menu that doesn't have mayo as the dressing? Just a thought.

what a disappointment!! i'd been waiting forever for this place to open because... (1) they're a fried chicken joint (which is why they automatically get one star!) (2) they are located next to my puppy's favorite petsmart --which means i could possibly eat there at least once a week! and (3) all of the positive reviews that i've read on yelp for other wingstop locations unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the hype. my boyfriend and i went Friday afternoon and while we didn't hit a lunchtime line the wait for the chicken was at least 25 minutes! a bit long for 6 pieces of chicken tossed in some sauce :P Anyways, i ordered the lemon pepper and BF got the original bbq. we both ate in silence...NOT because of the great taste, but because neither of us wanted to admit how blah the food was. my lemon pepper chicken tasted like it had a candy crisp coating on the outside and when i finished there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the bowl. BLEGH! plus, both of us agreed that the chicken itself was flavorless, dry, and had very little meat on the bone. in fact, the best part of lunch was our fries and that's just unacceptable for a place that calls itself WINGSTOP! oh yeah, they get an extra star for the nice customer service. what a change to see someone at a fast food place actually *smile* for a change...then again, the place did just open... BOTTOM LINE: can i please get some chicken with that grease?!

hehe even if this is unhealthy i LOVE fried chicken (: i love the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan i went with my 20year old cousin and 9year old brother haha boy do they love to eat! so im a girl and i love eating..ahah and so we got the lemon peppered, garlic pamersan, and mild wings so we're waiting for our wings and we were talking about the atomic wing then my 9yr old brother said he wanted to try it! so when our wings came (45 of them) we ate it all! we asked if my brother still wanted to try he said YES. haha so we got 2 atomic wings and 8 garlic parmesan, so he took a bite out of the atomic wing AND BAM he started to chug down pitchers of water.. so i tried it to see if it was rly that spicy and gave it a lick and BOY WAS THAT HOTTTTTTT. haha well i wouldnt try to atomic wings you, but the garlic parmesan and lemon peppered is a MUST!! even if its pretty oily its sooo good you won't be able to stop

Yum. What a great place to have a casual dinner! My friends and I had the 50-wing family dinner, which included 4 different flavors for the wings, a side, carrot/celery sticks, and dips. We had lemon pepper, hawaiian, garlic parmesan, and cajun. The wings were in perfect finger-food size, crispy skins, and moist meat on the inside. My favorite was the garlic parmesan. Super light on the garlic taste and great texture on the parmesan. No problem finding parking coz it was located in the mall across from BestBuy. The place was clean and cozy. After 14 wings, I thought no more wings for the next month. I was wrong! I was reminiscing the crispy skins and delicious flavoring on the outside the day after! Definitely coming back.

3 stars for the convenience of not having to fry my own wings -2 stars for everything else they are doing wrong--overcharging, bad sauces, etc. =1 star. Seriously folks, what do you want from a chain that is more interested in franchising and profit than good food? Here's what they say on their own web page: "Wingstop is a great product, but when you think about it, there is not much to it as a concept." I agree. How about this quote as to why they are so disorganized and slow "How Ordinary People with No Restaurant Experience Are Making Their Dreams Come True". No kidding. (emphasis mine). OK. They tried to knock off Quaker Steak & Lube and fell way short. They even went as far as to call their hottest wings Atomic right out of QS&L's playbook. Speaking of playbook, they do know their partner in crime is none other than DALLAS quarter back Troy Aikman. Wings--Football--DALLAS? Which one of these doesn't belong in the Bay Area? (I wonder how many franchises they had to give him for his nod of approval.) First a few comment about the comments of others: * Small wings are from smaller tender birds--Big wings = old tough stuff * Cooked to order is always worth the wait--go to McDonalds for their fake chicken if you want it faster than 14 minutes (there's no excuse for them to take longer though). * No napkins on the tables = more profitable franchises (forget about the customer) On to the food: Q. How can you ruin a plain old chicken wing fried in oil? A. Use BAD sauces I ordered mine to go and so they wouldn't be soggy I ordered the sauces on the side. I asked for the "clothes pins" AKA the second joint--NOT the drumette. Of course the cashier had no idea what that was. She said, "Huh, the flat part? " When I tasted the Lemon Pepper sauce (not on the chicken) you can taste the fake butter flavor, fake tasting lemon and did I mention SALT! They don't give you any celery, carrots or bleu cheese (because remember this store is about profit) but they more than make up for it in the free SALT they put on everything. Craving decent wings? Got to B.J's or my suggestion for wing fans who don't like to cook: Find a local Chinese restaurant who serves wings on the menu. Ask them for a couple of orders to go (with no sauce). When you get these crispy critters home stick them in the oven when you are ready heat 'em up and serve tossed with a mixture of Crystal Hot Sauce and a dab of melted butter--oh yeah, and you can serve celery and carrots to an army for the price they charge for a side.

So I went here to grab some wings, mostly because everyone always talks about how great they are. Ya....I was only half impressed but there were some definite highs and lows. For starters, they're super friendly and let you sample any of the wing sauces they offer before you place your order. BIG plus in my book because I couldn't decide between the Atomic and the Original Hot (I went with Original Hot- it had the classic "hot wings" flavor whereas the Atomic was spicy but had more of a roasted peppers flavor.). I also got the Garlic Parmesan and the Teriyaki. The Garlic Parm was pretty good- it had more of a dry rub to it than a sauce and I really liked the way the textures worked together. I didn't like the Teriyaki though- way too sweet and not really what I want on a wing. Another high was their speed: when I went in there, it was packed but the guy who took my order said my wings would be ready within 14 minutes; they were up in about five! Another thing I could appreciate was the fact that their wings actually had meat on them and weren't over-fried to death.; they were moist (even though I hate that word) and perfectly cooked! A negative? Price. They were definitely overpriced for what they serve but since the wings were pretty meaty, as opposed to wings you might find elsewhere, I'll concede the price point. All in all, I had a pretty good experience and I'll probably be back. But stick with the classics if you go- the Original Hot is pretty delicious and definitely worth checking out!!!

Wings actually pretty tasted good and I liked the seasoning. I even liked the restaurant setting; it was kind of casual and cool. However, my husband and I were projectile vomiting with severe food poisoning less than an hour after leaving this WingStop. We were sick all night (from both ends) and felt like we'd been punched in the gut for hours. I was too weak afterwards to do much of anything except groan. Handle your raw chicken with care, people. Lives are in your hands.

Besides being expensive and slow, the real reason I am reviewing them is because they did something I think is ridiculous. No one eats wings without dipping them in ranch or blue cheese, right? Well the opportunistic folks at Wingstop have decided to charge 89cents for the dipping sauces. I'm not talking about EXTRA sauce, I'm talking about getting any dipping sauce, and you are .89 poorer. Thats like charging for ketchup when you order fries (they do provide free ketchup) or charging for a bun to go with your burger. The food is not bad. But the value is terrible due to small portions and nickel and diming

Last night my friend and I drove by to see if they were open for business and indeed they were! I was really excited because I've been wanting to try their wings. We already had dinner but felt a little snack wouldn't hurt =) Upon entry into the restaurant my mouth started salivating as I gazed at the many flavors of wings being offered. They have Atomic, Cajun, Mild, Teriyaki, Hawaiian, Hickory Smoked, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan and Original Hot. Decisions, decisions lol. Well I finally decided on Original Hot so we got a 6-pc combo meal complete with bleu cheese dipping sauce, fries and drink to share. We waited about 10-15 minutes which I thought wasn't too bad because the wings ARE MADE TO ORDER. My friend got impatient as they hadn't called our order# so he went to the counter and the food was ready. The wings were a bit small for our liking but still TASTY. Fries were good. They have a salty, sweet taste to them. Overall, our experience wasn't bad. I recommend ordering 10+ wings to fill you up if you're planning on doing a big lunch or dinner otherwise this is a great snack stop. If you need a chicken fix they are open until Midnight so check them out! I'm coming back here often to try the other flavors!!!

i had the lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan and the smokey BBQ. This place is small and it gets packed during lunch hours. I love the lemon pepper!! its REALLY GOOD. As the price goes I had 35 pieces for about 23 dollars. about 1.60 for each small wing... it was kind of expensive. Well anyways, I would def. come back for the lemon pepper!

I was thrilled when I saw a few months ago that a WingStop was opening on the peninsula. I have eaten at the one in Fremont and absolutely crave their lemon pepper wings. So, I finally got a chance to try this location a few weeks ago, and it was just ok. The wings are still the same good quality, so no problems there. But the fries were pretty gross. They were soggy and very bland and the ranch sauce was way too runny, which is in huge contrast to the location in Fremont where the fries are delcious and the ranch is some of the best around. The other reason for a three star rating? The slooooooow service. I totally understand that there are new people who are in training. But when I call my order in to be picked up 30 minutes later, I don't expect to wait 15 minutes for it when I arrive. Yikes, there is some serious work to be done there. All in all, I will be back, but it may be about a month down the road in the hopes they are able to work some of the service and quality kinks out.

like another reivewer, i'm only giving 1 star because ZERO stars is not an option. i reiterate many of the other yelpers' comments: 1) ridiculously long wait for food. if you bother going here, which i don't recommend, you MUST call in your order 15+ min ahead. 2) mediocre, at best, taste and quality 3) even if the wings were good, which they weren't, the parking lot is enough to make someone go postal 4) good french fries at a very reasonable price but not even close to worth the hassle of the line or parking lot. sure do wish we had a buffalo wild wings in the bay area!

Huge disappointment. Tiny tiny wings!!!! They were too dry. Had the original and the Hickory bbq sauce, which was ok. Baked beans was way too sweet. Tasted like dessert with vanilla flavor. Really weird taste. The coleslaw was ok. Don't think I will come back.

the good news first - the fries here are excellent. they kind of have a tinge of sweetness that i have never tasted on french fries before. their ranch dressing is good. now, the rest of the story. the owner/manager was operating the cash register during my visit and she either has a learning disability or has not mastered counting US change. she seriously took 5 minutes to give the customer in front of me change from a transaction. if she wants to be hands on in the business, she should be in the kitchen or in the back doing their books. it is not clear where customers who have called ahead to place their order should go. do we wait in the enormously LONG line or go right to the counter? they need a sign. i had boneless wings and the breading was soggy. the flavors were not great. i had terriaki, hawaiian and garlic parmesan. the garlic parmesan wings were crispy but didn't have much flavor. they were more like plain chicken strips but were the best of my flavor selections. if you have not been to this shopping center, give ample time to navigate the parking lot. better yet, i recommend parking by golfsmith (the next strip mall down) and walking. the parking lot is beyond horrible and the engineer who designed it should be shot! all in all, the place is not worth the hassle of getting there, the waiting in line and the mediocre food. go to original buffalo wings on holly street in san carlos instead. support the mom and pop businesses in our community!

After stopping at The Home Depot, my father and I decided to try out the Wing Stop. We got an order of 16 boneless wing strips (half with the atomic sauce and half with the honey barbecue sauce,) fries, carrot and celery sticks, and one of each dipping sauce. The wing strips are crispy with just the right amount of badder and tender white meat. The fries are crispy and greaslesss. The atomic sauce is butt kicken hot with a biting one-two punch. The honey barbecue sauce is the perfect balance of sweet honey and smoky barbecue flavors. The celery and crrot sticks are crisp, crunchy with a cool ranch sauce, rich blue cheese sauce, and sweet honey mustard sauce. I will definitely have to go back and try the other flavors and the baked beans. The staff are very friendly and will answer any questions that you may have. So, for excellent wings and fries, Wing stop cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.!

This was not my first trip to WingStop and my opinion really hasn't changed. Customer service ...well I ordered original sauce she put hot sauce on the receipt, she told me one price for a second sauce and then charged me three times that much. Though to my advantage I ordered 7 boneless strips and got 8, and didn't order fries, but they were on my tray anyways. I dont know why people are all hyped about these wings, they barely have any meat on them at all, I think they over flavor and sauce them to mask the fact that the chicken is NOT moist. Not impressed with the food or the customer service. Parking is easy, prices are a bit much for what you get.

This was my first time eating at a WingStop, and I didn't see the hype. We ordered parmesan chicken, cajun, and original (i think). Some of the wings were overcooked, so the insides were dry rather than juicy. The sauces were tasty and the cajun was definitely spicy, but if you don't have a good piece of chicken, what's the point? I know some people would drive all the way San Carlos from SF for Wingstop, but I can't say I would do the same.

Went here today for lunch. Wanted to taste there wings. Ordered there combo 10 wings BBQ, & Louisiana rub, with French fries. Wings were dry, very salty, the fries were ultra salty. Had better frozen wings that tasted better that I cooked in microwave. Will not go back.

Yep you heard it, five stars. Now they have one of the best hot wings around. They are made to order just the way you like. Hot. Depending on your tastebud and mood, they come in different flavors. I like the cajun as with as the atomic. Their fries are really good. For a bargain, you can order the lunch specials which includes 10 pieces of wings( with that you can have them in two different flavors, a side of fries and a large drink for $8.99. It is so so good that I honestly could gulp down around 30 hot wings. They are nicely seasoned and crispy. No breaded which is always a plus. That is why they are so good. The place is a tad small so if you plan to eat there you should probably have someone get a table. Since it is made to order, the wait is about 10-15 minutes I noticed. But you can order ahead or online.

Extremely over-fried wings with barely ANY meat on them. Slow service when it was not even busy. Staff was friendly enough and after ordering I told the cashier that it was my first time and he insisted that "I would definitely be back." Definitely not.

3 stars for best fries n great wings. -2 for poor seating, or I mean lack of seating... Wingstop is popular & well known so no need to say anything else. Just hoping this may help motivate a cahnge is seating plans at all smaller sized wingstops.

  • Bob G.

Wait time for seating: 3 I usually get takeout and I usually don't eat here. I have on occasion, and while it's usually packed I've eaten outside at the tables nearby. Ambiance: 2 Industrial feel. Wooden benches/tables. Not the cleanest. Menu selection: 2 Fine for a chain with a focus on wings. Wait time after ordering: 1 Wing delivery is always running late. When I've called ahead, thinking I'll get an accurate estimate on when I can pickup the wings, I'm always waiting. Sometimes I'm waiting an extra fifteen minutes after I'm supposed to pick up my order. When I've ordered at the counter I'm always waiting up to twenty/thirty minutes for the order. I've contemplated leaving without wings on numerous occasions but I never do. Quality of food: 2 Even when I order well done and not too much sauce, my wings are slathered and dripping to excess. Wings do come out of the frier and are boxed super hot in temperature. Once you get past the amount of sauce, wings have plenty of meat on them. Sides like dipping sauce are always included and cold from the fridge. Quantity of food: 2 You get the number of wings you order. Not too hard to mess up here. Overall service: 1 Seems like high school guys usually run the place and aren't focused on customer service. Just get the wings out and that's it. The wait time for wings is horrible. Rating System: 5 Outstanding 4 Excellent 3 Good 2 Fair 1 Poor

Love Wing Stop! Go here and get the garlic parmesan chicken wings. I like them on the bone, because I like dark meat. The boneless wings are more white meat. They also have that cool soda machine where you can customize your drink.

I finally visited this place for the first time yesterday. A group of friends and I went at around 11am and there was virtually no one here. The staff is friendly and patient, they took my order after 15 minutes of questions lol. I settled for the combo with large fries and 10 chicken wings plus and extra 5 for 2.99. I ordered the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. Our orders took about 10 minutes which was not that bad of a wait. The food? Honestly, after hearing all the hype. I was a bit disappointed. My sister, who has been to Wingstop before, even said that the food was not that great that day. I guess it depends on the day? The lemon pepper had too much pepper and the fries? Well, they had too much sugar! I mean, who puts sugar on fries? The garlic parmesan made up for all of that though. Maybe cause I'm a big fan of garlic but who knows. Would I come back? Maybe. Hopefully when Wingstop is having a good day.

Wing stop rocks. I wouldnt say the best wings I've ever had, but they are pretty good. Lots of people like the fries but I prefer to substitute potato salad. Kind of silly that they charge extra for celery. Celery is a staple with wings and should come with them. One thing they desperately need here are those wet nap things. The hard ass 'paper towels' are not very efficient at all and I always leave with orange fingers.

I am not addicted I am Committed. First off let me start off by telling you that I myself am obsessed with wing stop and have gotten my friends hooked as well. I have been around to a few locations and I am going to have to say that San Carlos is the best. It may or may not be because of that soda machine! I would of give five stars BUT here is why I did not: Some times when I am feeling guilty I substitute fries for Veggie sticks, they almost always mess that up. There is this one guy who works there , he is a pasty shorter kid he may be the floor manager- my friends and I were sitting by the window where they cook and we did not hear them call our name and he rudely hit the window and motioned us to get over there. The last thing would be the cleanliness of the tables for some reason there are no trash cans- and there is always disgusting eaten chicken bones all over the tables. On the other side the wings are always cooked to perfection, and the combinations are almost endless. There is this tall dark skinnier guy who works there he is awesome! He always makes good suggestions and takes a polite initiative with his colleges, the soda is always bomb.com - I would prostitute myself for wings if it was socially acceptable

Service was ok, except they completely forgot to include the sauce. Big surprise when I got home, wings with NO blue cheese sauce as ordered, and late night so there's no way I'm wasting more time driving back down to them to get a tiny dollop of sauce. Add to that the wings are pretty small compared to what you get at other places. Not visiting here again.

Honestly i thought this place was pretty good..i don't know why it has such bad reviews. I had the Cajun wings and the garlic ones. I thought they were super good. The only thing is the atmosphere isn't anything special at all, but it has good wings and has Stella on tap so I'm coming back fo sho

This is a great WingStop. I especially enjoy the computer powered Coke machine. The food is just delicious. Forget KFC,Church's and Popeye's and come to WingStop where the food is actually healthy.

These guys are a mess tonight. Husband called 20 min ago and they are now onto -6 minutes of our order. Claimed they just started making them when I got here. It's 9:21pm and I'm tired and hungry! 2 stars only because I love their wings. 0 stars for service.

Have you ever seen some small, skinny girls eat? No, like EAT! I went with a small group of 2 other girls and a guy and yeah, those wings got some major damage done to them. The 4 of us ordered the 35 wings pack + another 6 of the atomic to try. Turns out, it was for a family of 8 but we managed to finish 90% of it!! The Parmesan was my favorite, followed by the lemon, cajun and bbq. We got boneless and it was pretty good bite size pieces. The chicken was pretty heavily seasoned but not too dry. The family pack came with beans which apparently had a hint of alchy in it (I didn't crave the chance to try it) along with some buns (bread) slathered in butter which were super delicious!! When I tried the atomic (their specialty!), i took a pretty huge bite and was pretty nonchalant about it. Then you can see the sweat coming out of my face and me grabbing for the water! Can't really taste the flavor but you can definitely feel the spicy sensation! I finished 2 wings like a champ but make sure to wash your hands real carefully after. When I got home, I was rubbing my eyes and they were literally burning after!! Don't know what's in that wing but I know I'm going to be using a fork next time and bringing a cup of milk! The price was reasonable and the chicken pieces are smaller than you think. But the only thing I would really complain about is their ultra sticky floors. Do you know how many times my flip flops got stuck to them trying to get water multiple times? My sister even broke her sandal straps!! Maybe another bite of the atomic chicken will help us move a little faster!

While this may be a 4-star review, go ahead and consider it a conditional 5-star review based on the following. I went here maybe 2 weeks ago with my dad to get food for the family. As such, the flavors on our chicken wings HAD to be mild. If I had come here without such preconditions, I would definitely have tried out some of the spicier offerings, though their "Hickory Smoked" flavor was good. I doubt I would ever try "Atomic" (unless I was under the guidance of a certain type of unserved beverage), but "Original Hot" and "Cajun" would definitely be in store for the future. Their dip offerings are good, too, because I learned through going here that I actually prefer to use honey mustard over ranch on my wings! "Wing Training," so to speak.

Ordered ala carte wings and strips.. you have option to chose 2 flavors.. so I went with Cajun and garlic parmesan.. then I saw their ad for Louisiana Rub.. asked them to change the flavor from parmesan to LA rub.. gosh LA rub kicked Cajun's spice ass.. loved the spiciest LA flavor.

Dirty tables. Had to clean the table before I sat down. Table across us had dirty dishes and I had to stare at that the whole time. Food had to much sauce and too much salt on fries. I would pick KFC over this any day.

Is it me or does wing stop buy small wings? Because I swear, wings from ALL wing stop are TINY! Don't get me wrong, I love the flavors! (Lemon pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Cajun and all that stuff) but, can we get more meat in the chicken please?

unbelievably pissed at this very moment Superbowl Sunday, going to Wingstop at 1120 a.m. and am denied a walk up order for buffalo wings. I will never patronage this establishment ever again I can't wait until Buffalo Wild Wings comes to anywhere near the peninsula, this is a travesty I have been to the birthplace of the buffalo wings in Buffalo New York the Anchor Bar, this means a lot to me and they will not accept my order in person or online and I am never going back to this establishment ever again. It was the McDonald of buffalo wings forever but it got me through, but now you have violated my trust as a customer and you are dead to me.

Went here for Dinner and shared the Buffalo Flavor and Lemon. Flavor was really good. Baked beans are good (alcohol flavored), but added some bbq sauce for extra flavoring. Limited amount of seating...place can get pretty packed. Love the soda fountain machine - has Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite Zero, Powerade Zero, etc.....so your choices are unlimited. Never seen a machine like this one!! Overall: I'd go here for a snack or for lunch only. They don't have that many side options (veggie stix, beans, fries).

Wow, what a lousy Wingstop! Ordered a combo but they neglected to give me everything in the order--instead of 3 sauces, I got none! The ones in Texas seem much better...

The flavours of the wings are in general pretty good. I personally like wings better than strips because I like to chew on the bones, but their wings are a bit on the skimpy side, so if you want tons of meat go for the strips. I like the lemon pepper and the garlic parmesan flavours. Beware of the atomic flavour if you can't take super spicy things -- I like spicy things but that stunned me. The rest of the flavours were meh. 4-star for the good flavours, and 3 for the skimpy size of the wings...

Good Wings, Crack Fries, and Beer/Soda... that's what I'm talking about! When you are craving man food you can't go wrong with Wing Stop, seriously good wings with lots of tasty flavors along with what I've renamed "crack fries" because not only are they salty they are also sweet. The flavors I always enjoy are the Original Hot, Lemon Pepper, BBQ, or Cajun, just depends on what I'm in the mood for, but they are always finger licking good, especially into their Ranch Dressing. Wing Stop for me has always been consistent, you've got TV's around so at this particular location if there is a game on expect the place to be packed and busy, but well worth the noise if your craving some wings!

**UPDATE TO PREVIOUS** Seriously, chicken wings... you make me go ridicious!!! OMG I just went back after writing this review lastnight. This time i went to the Union City location. My order consisted of 5 - mild (eh) 5 - garlic parmesan (oohwee) ****** (yup, 5 keyboard stars) for the GARLIC PARMESAN. But my other half (5 mild chicken wings) was a light tasting buffalo wing. All i have to say is next time i go to WingStop it is all or nothing on the GARLIC PARMESAN CHICKEN WINGS. ITS OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD. I even had some left overs and brought it home to eat it with rice. I'm so "asian" for that one. I think Wingstop needs to consider having Rice as a side. Until the next review....

The only reason this place gets any stars is due to the sweet cashier named Nopi. He was very cool, and made me laugh. What else made me laugh though, was how under cooked my chicken was. Also, I saw managers yelling at employees in front of me, and it sounded like mundane things. Really rude. He looked hispanic with glasses and not much hair. He was the one who also walked away when I was ready to order. That is when Nopi came in. So thanks Mr.!

First off, I want to say I really do enjoy wingstop's food. But, I have never had a order that didn't have some sort of problem with it from this location. Tonight, my roommate and I placed an order for 10 wings, 2 orders of boneless strips, 2 rolls and 2 fries. I placed the order online and went to pick up. The order was late to be finished. After packing up my order the guy handed me the bag and told me to have a good night. I asked to go over the order, and he read me everything he saw on the ticket and proceeded to walk away. I opened the bag and didn't see the rolls. I asked him if they were in the boxes with the wings. He then looked over and saw my rolls siting on the counter in the back. I was glad I asked. Why would he confirm everything was in the bag if he didn't actually know. When I finally got home, none of the sauces for any of our wings or boneless strips were in the boxes. It's unfortunate that I have similar experience every time I order from this Wing Stop and it's the closest to my house.

I have been wanting a wing place to open close to us for a long time. Now that there is one... I want a bit of an upgrade. The wings were good. I had the lemon pepper and the garlic parmesan. The lemon pepper were good, crispy with good flavor. The garlic parmesan were a bit dry... I think if they had a plain garlic it would be better. My main disappointment was the fries. They were a bit under cooked and lacked flavor. If the cooked them a bit longer and tossed them with pepper and salt they would be good. I will come back and try more flavors. I wish they had a sampler pack where you could get 20 with 4 flavors.... if they did this... and improved the fries I would add another star.

Not quite the "hit it out of the park" type of place but the food is tasty! My biggest objection is that these types of places use really low-mid grade wings. Barely any meat on them and if deep fried too long, it's basically over fried chicken that is crunchy all the way trough! Their sides are actually pretty descent for what you get. The place is small and often cluttered with people's mess as the staff doesn't seem to bus the tables often or immediately thereafter. It's not bad but if you're hungry...anything tastes good!

Ugh. These people that work here are so rude. They don't look happy to serve anyone. I know your not happy about your minimum wage job, I'm not happy about mine either but best believe I fake a smile for a sale. Its called a job. But that's not even the worst part of my visit. The guy didn't listen to me at all. He just typed in my order of what's easier for him to prepare. I asked for 20 pieces of cajun buffalo strips. He goes "are your sure? That's like 40 of these" he points at a smaller chicken product. First of all it's none of your business how much I can or can't eat. Second TAKE MY ORDER! I'll deal with the consequences of having to much chicken wings. Which is actually not that bad. Also they were for my husband, who is a 285 pound, very built man. I'm sure we'll manage all those wings sir. Well the guy starts making a big deal so I say all right how much can you eat then. He says 20 so I say fine then give me the 20 like i had originally asked for. how hard is it to listen to your customer and take the f***ing order! He says "I'll give you 14" ummm excuse me but this isn't a hot wings auction sir. So in conclusion I left with 10 wings :/ i PAID for 14 That is so ridiculous! I will NEVER go back. oh yea and the reason i settled is because i was in a time crunch. maybe i shouldnt have gone there but i had an hour and the guy took the entire hour to argue with me about my order! so lame. next time if i want to waste an hour of my life arguing over some mundane topic with some brain dead teenager, i'll be sure to go there -____- I'd rather buy those crap packs of frozen chicken strips at Safeway and add hot sauce to them. Wing stop you make me cry inside.

We came here this weekend when the irresistible call of the wing put us under its spell. I haven't bought chicken wings in years, but I used to love the "suicide wings" from a place in Boston. Accordingly, I asked for the atomic. I loved the response: guy: "have you had the atomic before?" me: "no" guy: "try it" The taste was very hot, for sure. Then I asked for an order - I got the atomic boneless strips. He warned me I could not get a refund. I laughed. I brought them home and tore into them. It was hot. Crying hot, but not body-wracked-in-pain hot. I alternated with teriyaki strips to keep it under control. I was impressed with the spices, and I made sure not to touch my face while eating. In any case, the chicken strips are good. A bit expensive, a little long on the wait, but good. And the atomic is friggin' hot. Not world-record hot, but I warn you that unless you have earned your to-the-pain spice badge, you may want to go with "regular"...

Lucky my friend called in to order our 100 wings for the super bowl. When we went to pick up our order, they weren't taking any walk in orders! We paid and got our order within 15 mins FTW! I heard they had 92 orders for pick up at 3pm before the super bowl,. must have been real busy. So busy , they only gave us our 100 wings,. and didn't give us our french fries we paid for. Which we didn't find out until we arrived at the super bowl party. I didn't remember the chicken wings being so tiny? What happened to all the meat? WingStop will not be of choice , when I crave chicken wings. BTW,. you owe our SUPER BOWL PARTY a couple order of fries!
